About two hours later, Mr. Jennings, the owner, stopped by with a partner and their truck to write the estimate. Although it is quite expensive to cut down a tree, his was the lowest estimate of the 4 I had gotten and when I asked when they could do the work, he said 'now' if I wanted. They were all done in about 45 minutes. He said someone would come by in a couple of days to grind up the stump. A different company that A Cut Above uses came by the next day while I was out and took care of the stump. I paid them separately. The stump wasn't ground very far below the surface so I decided to plant grass there and I planted a new tree off to the side. Overall, very pleased with the work done. I would use this company again and recommend them to friends.
