I visited yesterday for the second time this Summer and they did t have chocolate available either time. The worker said they would have it available in September. All summer without chocolate? Menchie's is always the best for dessert & froyo! The establishment is always clean & the employees are always informative, inviting, & friendly. I always mix it up and have to try it all! It's a "frozen yogurt buffet" for anyone who hasn't tried Menchie's. You choose your cup size, your favors, then choose any amazing topping they have available on the buffet. Don't forget the sauces! Not sure why the low star average for this Menchie's. My boyfriend and I stopped by today after seeing a movie at Cinemark next door and it was very tasty. Menchie's is my favorite Froyo chain, but unfortunately the closest one to me is in Warren which isn't that close. So I was excited to learn that there was one by him. We ended up getting some sort of Reese's chocolate froyo and also Golden Oreo froyo. I had $5 off on my Menchie's card too from a while back so for two people, it was only $5.99 for froyo ... It's 53 cents per ounce which is a little pricier than others I've been to. Toppings were good too, I tend to go for the candy kind. My only suggestion is to add Reese's cups, right now they only have Reese's Pieces. They get a 4 rather than a 5 from me because some of the tables were wobbly. read more

I'm so sad how this experience went. I loved the yogurt here the first visit and I was so excited to share that with my daughters. I took my two daughters to have fro yo and my youngest put a bunch of boba on hers. $20 dollars for three people to eat yogurt. Ok that's fine but then my daughter hated hers because of the boba. At yogurtown, the bobas are a fun burst of strawberry and mango juice. These had thick syrup inside. My other daughter tried and said they were pretty awful because it overwhelmed the dish so I tried one and yes, they were not good. I told the girl at the counter about it and she said there's nothing I can do, the boba is the best part. Well not for us. Wow. This is how they handle unhappy customers. I said so you basically won't do anything for me? She said no. I was dumbfounded. I left but then I returned to ask the names and try and find a manager. They are both really young, so I get it, stranger danger, but when I asked for her name she refused to give it to me. Then she refused to give me her managers name. I finally found out it was the young girl who had told my 6 year old she should love the boba because it's the "best part" nothing like shaming my 6 year old for thinking she's weird for not liking the giant balls of thick syrupy goop. Melissa's apparently the "manager" and then she proceeded to tell me the company's policy is once it's in your cup it's your responsibility. Nothing she can do. I told her that's crazy and the other girl in the store with her was awful. She was so rude. She was telling me to calm down. I wasn't even yelling or saying anything except expressing my disappointment in the terrible experience we had at this place. I told her calm down? What am I doing that's not calm? I'm not being loud or yelling I'm literally trying to understand how you could be so unapologetic for a stupid bowl of yogurt that cost you a customer who literally takes her kids to Yogurtown a couple times a week because we love it so much. In the end I realized there was no point in wasting my time. If the companies motto is you put it in the cup you suck it up, maybe they should make that their slogan. Seriously DONT GO HERE. Yogurtown is so much better. I go there a couple times a week. Once my daughter dropped her full cup and they were so nice to her and let her get another one. Really, the level of customer service skills the owner taught his employees is sad. And they need a supervisor with at least some experience. I'm really sad this was the outcome but I guess I'll stick with what I know works. Yogurtown has never let me down. read more
