    a horse drawn wagon

I found this ice cream food truck at Cass Lake beach Dodge Park #4. This was great news for us! Previously, many decades ago, Dodge Park had a concession stand, but that is no more. So there is plenty of room for people to get a permit and sell snacks, plus right now due to the pandemic, there is a good crowd for plenty of hungry customers. According to the gentleman who works the wagon, they were previously at Belle Isle, but now they are here most days of the week (according to him, usually Wed-Sun). Also, according to lore, this adorable wagon was acquired from Disney World. At this wagon they serve scoopable Hershey's ice cream. While they did not have too many flavors, they chose some good ones, the classics like chocolate and vanilla, and some creative ones like llama llama birthday cake and banana pudding. The prices are pretty good for a food truck, $5 gets you a single scoop in a cup, and waffle cone (there are three flavors; chocolate, caramel, and vanilla), or a make your own sundae where you choose from several toppings. A double is only $3 more. They can also make ice cream floats. They also have baby cones for $4. I was hankering for a fun food truck experience, and I think they delivered.

The ice cream was good, but the gut working the food truck (Terry) was an ass. Will not go back.

Ordered Fish Supreme Tacos $11.50 and got a cup of water. They offered chips with salsa. Awesome! However, nothing special, very bland chips with salsa. Fish Supreme Tacos, came with two tacos and rice and beans on the side. Got the corn tortillas. Again, very bland. Fish did not really have taste and price tag wasn't helping either. Not sure about the other dishes on the menu but will not get Fish Supreme Tacos ever again. Regardless, service was quick and nice. Bill came out fast and did not have to wait for it.

I ordered tortilla chips the worker asked if I wanted cheese and I said sure. I also ordered the flaunts lunch special. It was a 8 until this visit. I got cheese put on the tortilla chips. Which made them soggy but I couldn't enjoy them because their from scratch tortillas chips were stale. The flaunts were presented beautifully but had left over chicken and it tasted leftover. I placed my order at 2:47 and was told 15 minutes at 2:53 they're calling me while I am 2 blocks away letting me know that my order was ready. Strange yes but I am new. I get my food and go to the park to enjoy and guess what the food was Disgusting and I had no silverware or napkins. You got time to call me to pick up my order, but not give me silverware or napkins. It took everything in me not to drop the food back off and ask for my tip back. I honestly can't say I would try this restaurant again.

A lot of restaurants have been cutting corners and sacrificing quality to turn a quick buck, but not here. Detroit 75 is representing their city well. I'm not sure if they're the 3rd best food truck in the country as currently rated, but it's the best I've tried in years. 4.56 stars.

I'm gonna start with the egg rolls, they were by far the best part. Absolutely fantastic flavor and the #75 sauce made it even better. The chicken tenders were good; but the fries were not that great. Maybe piling the tenders on top made them soggy but we ate it within minutes of receiving it. The house ranch made them better. The Atwater chicken has a lot of potential, the garlic cilantro aioli needed some salt or something, you can taste it has good body just lacked punch. So the chicken sandwich was just ok. Service: Amazing, my brother made good recommendations and they were pretty quick about getting the order ready. Always appreciate a kind face that doesn't need to rush you as you ask questions. Ambiance: You can get expensive gas while you wait for your food. I'm sure it's an awesome spot when the weather is warm. It's definitely a spot to come back to. We enjoyed our meal.
