My wife and I were in the area running errands on a hot day when we spotted Menchies. Ahhhhhh! A cold delicious treat. So many choices! A dozen choices in the dispensers. Another dozen sauces to choose among. Then about thirty or more sprinkles for the toppings. Then four great selections of syrups. My head was spinning! My wife decided on two flavors of chocolate yogurt with caramel and hot fudge. After much contemplation I finally went with a combo of banana and peanut butter yogurt with Reese's Pieces. Now you can pile on as much as you want, just remember the cost is by weight, so try not to stack more than you can eat. Both our dishes were great, cold and sweetly soothing. Bought seven frozen yogurts for family. Met with very rude attendant. After spending 60 plus dollars our 5 year old drops his ice cream on floor. I like to pile it high with sugary toppings so I need a little bit of tartness. They have all the awesome toppings. I tried a little of everything sweet - chocolate chips, cookie dough, oreos, heath bars, butterfingers, etc. I sat down at one of their tables and enjoyed the goodness. They have some outdoor tables as well for when the weather is nice. It is smaller inside than other Menchie's I've been to, but it wasn't that busy when I was there, so there may be no need for it to be bigger. Just went to this location to have some after dinner ice cream and left the store. A mother and kid (around 10-11 years old) mask-less self serving themselves at this location. When I said something to the cashier (politely and discreetly) she blew it off. My husband and I left. On our way to D'Lites instead. Safety is important. Honestly, I'm surprised this location has self serve add ins to begin with. Other Menchies have add ins in closed containers. We won't be back to this location. Been going here at least 2-4x month the last 2 Saturday nights we have been there were very disappointing. They have kids working who were in the back when we entered. They were out of 2 of the flavors and the magic shell. 2nd sat night they were busy 3 kids working, walked in on one on cell in the bathroom. I've been coming here for quite some time, but this review only reflects my most recent experience. They allow samples of their froyo which is great of course. The total froyo is charged by weight so usually for two people, expect to spend 7-10 bucks for a reasonable portion of froyo and toppings. This most recent time, my girlfriend and I got cheesecake and graham cracker flavor with cheese cake bites and sprinkles on top, which worked very well. Extremely disappointed. This WAS our go to place. Stopped in last night after a few month hiatus. They now have a very noisy play center at the front where kids play. Why would they put a loud toy/ play area inside such a small store front? Makes no sense. I guess they will attract the parents that want to have a temporary baby sitter. Since I hadn't visited before I asked a little bit about it and was told, its generally sold by weight, but Tuesday evenings it's all you can fit in the container for $5. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The flavors are so good and fresh. They change every so often but I'm not sure when. The toppings available are fresh and kept clean in their own containers. Good Low Carb flavor but HORRIBLE customer service. I asked about putting yogurt in my own cake cone (which I purchased) and they were baffled as to how to weigh it. I asked if they could just weigh it as it it were the same as a cup? Nick (the manager/district lead) actually said he could lose out on "making money". When they weighed the difference in the empty cup versus an empty cone I think the difference was roughly 4 cents. He said he had to train his employees on how to do it when he wasn't there. I commented - that he was teaching them a valuable lesson in customer service. Holy cow! Not to mention I saved them the cost of the cup and the spoon themselves which I can guarantee cost him more than 4 cents. I work in an ice cream store, so I know how much the 12oz cups and plastic spoons are. I also know what good customer service is and how to think outside the box for the sake of helping and pleasing a customer. The manager (Nick) actually commented on how good my cone looked (like I said I work in an ice cream store and know how to make a good soft serve cone) and he is going to look into getting cones! I went back there twice and the employees (even those who were there the first time) gave me an attitude. The 3rd time, they actually called the manager, Nick, to ask what to do and how to charge me. (I thought he had trained them on how to weigh it). He actually told them to have me put my cone in their cup to weigh it. I dropped a cup on the floor, had to get another one, so he had to pay for 2 cups. He could've saved those cost and I would've paid cash but I wanted him to have to pay the credit card fee so I use my amex. I brought my entire family in for yogurt so they "made some money" on us. They would've made a tip too if they had showed some level of service and a nice attitude. I called and asked for the owner (Greg) and they gave me the number for a McDonalds. Walking Into Weight Watchers everyday and looking over at menchies wanting to try. Couldn't get myself to go in there until i saw a couple walk out with smiles on there faces. As i walk in i'm greeted with "welcome to menchies, how are you?" by a nice young man. I believe his name was griffin, going by the name tag. He helped me pick out a flavor not knowing as i've never been in before. He turned me onto the flavor no sugar added strawberry.
