The installations were not huge projects, but Myron, founder of RM Stockton, was happy to come all the way from Oceanside to give us a competitive quote. Apparently he does a lot of work in the area. With a "coordinated quarantine" scheduled with our son's family to host our new granddaughter here a few weeks later (in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic), I preferred someone who could get the job done quickly and professionally. Once I awarded him the contract, Myron worked with his son and another skilled craftsman to complete these outdoor projects in the two weeks leading up to our family visit. Knowing how much work Myron does for other contractors, I felt lucky to get his talent to do two skilled installations on such short notice. As you can see from the "before & after" photos, RM Stockton converted a "garbage" patio corner into a living space, and made our ugly stucco wall in front look elegant by comparison. Myron suggested using matching tile on two other door stoops to the back yard and I'm glad he did. The appearance of the back of our house is transformed and greatly improved. I highly recommend Myron and his team for any tile or stone installation projects you may have.

At that point, it was too late for my schedule. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, we re-scheduled for 2 days later with a wide arrival window. This time - again, he didn't show, call, message, or respond to mine. I understand that things can come up and interfere with plans. However, not communicating that to a prospective customer is something I have no patience for. When I twice arrange my schedule to accommodate his, his no-show/no message behavior signals both a lack of professionalism and a total disregard for my time. It's rude. Maybe his business is that good he feels he can do what he wants. To me, this is a huge flag for other prospective customers.
