I went into US Turf as a walk in and was introduced to Nick. He gave me some availabilities to come out to get an estimate. I ask if he was avaliable then and there, he agreed and came out. The estimate took 15-20 mins. Since it was the week of July 4th he gave me a really good deal that was hard to pass. The agreement was sent the next day and the installation crew arrived right after the holiday weekend. Poli and his crew worked the entire day plus some overtime to finish the job in 1 day. DO NOT use this company, they do not stand behind there work! The get 2 stars only because the yard looked great when they were finished but that was short lived. I had my entire property covered in turf and it looked great when it was done but I soon found out there workmanship was very poor. I told them multiple times, before and during the project, to ensure they graded the property correctly to accommodate water run off. Since we do not get much rain it was months before I found out they did not grade the property correctly. When the first heavy rain happened I discovered I had a lake in my side yard because the water couldn't drain off of my property. I had them come back and their fix was to rip up the turf and install a drain from the side yard out to the front yard. This helped but I still have standing water in the side yard after it rains. The next issue are the two sink holes I now have in my side yard. One is directly over the drain pipe they installed and the second is where the water pools because the drain doesn't work and the water just sits there and slowly absorbs into the ground. I called the company and explained this and of course it's not covered under warranty. The lady said they would come out and fix it but it would cost me about $350.00. Like I'm going to pay them more money to fix their shoddy workmanship. The last issue is with the weeds, I have more now then when I had grass. I told them I wanted ground covering put down and the representative adamantly told me not to use it since I had dogs and the urine smell would be a problem. I should have listened to myself and made them put it down. Ground covering wouldn't have been a problem. I routinely treat the turf with neutralizer which works with or without the ground cover being put down. Additionally, the ground cover is porous so the urine would have washed away with rain or my treatments. Do yourself a favor and find a better company that knows what they are doing. read more

Had about 1500 square feet of pet friendly Turf installed by US Turf, last week. Their sales person Jessie wasn't pushy, was friendly and very pleasant to work with. The turf product was really beautiful, lush and just what I needed in my back yard for four young sighthounds. The team of installers Jose x3, Gilbert and translator Brenda were efficient, fun and very nice people who knew and performed their job well. They worked very hard and the result is lovely and just what my puppies needed. They also demolished an old potting shed and poured a pad for my new she shed. The price was extremely oreasonable for all of the work they performed, pre instillation prep, concrete pad, and turf placement. They made my ugly dirt backyard a green oasis. I had two other turf companies write quotes. But I didn't feel confident with either sales persons and their prices were just too much for the same work. Great people, great turf, great work. I had DG installed per recommendation and was told it was minimal to nearly no maintenance. After the first major rain here, weeds sprouted everywhere. I can understand a few here or there. Once I reached out, I was informed this is typical and recommended a weed killer. Had I known this is within normal tolerance, I would've done something else. Our sales rep was Chris and he made it easy by being straightforward about pricing. Their bid was reasonable compared to other companies. Most importantly, we were very impressed with the installers. They were very thorough and diligent. The lines were incredibly clean and sharp after they finished. They also made us turf drainage covers so that we can keep the drains covered for better visual appeal. We got the turf for our dog, who is a 50 lb. Australian cattle dog. She uses the turf daily, so we made sure to add the pet infill. We've seen other turf get discolored or start to get patchy, but our turf has held up really well. Had US Turf and 4 other companies give estimates for front lawn, 560 to 575 square ft of replacing grass with fake turf, as well as capping 11 sprinkler heads and installing a drip, bubbler system for the lone tree. Three had $4k range incl UST, and 2 had $7k range. Honestly, all had good presentations and good products. Miles of UST had more samples than the others, and we liked how they were the thicker and not as thick varieties. We were able to skip the pets-related samples as we don't have pets, and zero problems with neighbors and their dogs. We chose UST, and we didn't go wrong. It was a 2 day process, 0730 to 1700, and 0730 to 1400. The 3-man crew did excellent work, and installed as shown in any fake turf installation video. Yes, they were meticulous. One problem involved a cracked sprinkler pipe, delaying and impacting their installation of a drip system. The cracked pvc piping was not their fault. It existed a while ago, unknowingly to us. But, they patched it up regardless. After that, we chose to forego the drip system and leave the sprinkler heads capped. 20something year old pvc piping, who knows what else will crack a leak. Had it not been for the time spent on that cracked pvc, we are 100pct sure they would have finished on Day 1. 2nd issue: upon completion Day 2, a very noticeable seam was present. And this is why we do not regret choosing UST: their one guy on Day 2 figured the problem, and worked his tail off fixing it. No more visible seam. He did a portion of the seam at a time, infill, power broom, repeat. Over and over. We are VERY appreciative of his hard work. All in all, great sales visit, great tear out and install.
