He explained everything he was doing and when I was having trouble keeping my eyes open from how bright the lights are he was very nice about letting me close them and open when I was ready. When it was time for me to look for frames he offered to have someone assist me in showing what I can get with my type of insurance and explain all my benefits. I found a pair I really liked that my insurance covered. I sat down with a staff member, I think her name was Angie, she was very nice and explained all my insurance questions to me. She showed me all the different options for my lenses and didn't make me feel like she was trying to upsell me anything. Also when I turned down a few upsellers she was still very polite and I really appreciate that you aren't pressured into buying more than you're wanting to spend. I'm very happy with my choice to come to this office and will absolutely be back!

Dr Seyller is always very thorough, friendly and fun as are all her staff. I think their receptionist is new and she was great. Welcoming and pleasant. Of course the most important thing to me is quality of care and as someone who has seen 5 regular optometrists prior to Dr Seyller, she's by far the best. Highly recommended.

She listens, asks all the right questions and is relentless in getting you the best possible prescription to address even the most complex vision needs. She is on-time, thorough and professional. So glad I made the switch and have found a new eye care clinic that is just the right fit for me. Kaitlyn the intern is also excellent. Love being a patient where interns can learn from such an outstanding example of professionalism. And check out the hours!! With a pair of broken glasses, I stopped into Solomon Optical and had them repaired in no time. The staff is incredibly quirky (in a Seinfeld kind of way), endearing, and helpful. They, usually a staff of three, run a somewhat fly by the seat of your pants ship as they dodge piles of papers, glasses orders, various items from the 90s, and promotional materials. How endearing, I thought. So, I made an appointment with their optometrist who's in once a week since I was due for a check up. With the appointment I made, they didn't charge me for fixing my glasses. On a side note: if you buy glasses from them, adjustments are always free of charge. When I arrived for my appointment the following week, I let them know that I was only interested in getting contacts but they sat me down anyway and had me try on about 20 different glasses. I'm glad they did this for the woman who was helping me knew exactly what she liked and didn't like for my face and coloring - so helpful! They really do offer great service that is honest and upfront. The reason I'm giving them three stars is mostly attributed to the chaotic state of things. The optometrist was a very nice woman and completely capable. The exam room, however, was cramped, inefficient, with outdated/uncleaned equipment, and no sink to wash my hands in before sticking my fingers in my eyes. I just don't know if I can get over the actual condition of the Solomon Optical space.
