I am split about this place. Quality of men's suites isn't top but for a business suite you wear every day and don't want to be overly concerned of ruining it, it works. Love their in house tailoring service. Oxen you paid for tailoring, you can adjust your pants and jacket for free if needed in the future .that is a huge saving to consider. read more

We used mens warehouse for the men in our wedding. The groom, groomsmen and fathers rented from there. We actually ended up renting suits because they looked just as good if not better than the tuxes. I would definitely recommend asking to see the color of suit in person than just going by the picture they show out of their catalog or the picture on the counter or website. They were definitely skewed in the pictures. Seeing them in person actually had us going with a completely different color suit than we thought we would. Don't get me wrong...we were not disappointed by this. Just surprised by the color difference but pretty happy with the new choice. Another item to consider..they were pretty limited on ties and pocket square colors so we ended up ordering the color we wanted from just Amazon. They had mentioned they would not charge us for the pocket squares and ties since we were doing that but they seemed to have forgotten and each person ended up still paying for them. Not a big deal as they were not much but if you do opt to go the same route make sure you confirm and reconfirm that they will not be charging you! Other than that we were very happy with the suits and how easy it was to pick up and return. A couple of the suits even came in earlier than they originally said which was a tremendous help since we had to leave town for the wedding and they were of great quality! And being able to return the suits at any store after definitely was nice too. So we would recommend Men's Warehouse in the future for several of these reasons. read more

I rented a tuxedo here for a wedding and the fitting took well over an hour. When I received it on the wedding day the pants were multiple sizes too large around the waist, thighs, and length. Do not get fitted at this location unless you want to spend a few hours safety pinning your pants to fit. read more

First of all, when fitted for a suit, I had the employee make several comments about my weight, While the employee himself looked like he was literally built of melons. I stopped in here with my family because my nephew wanted a suit. As a pre-teen, he hasn't had a need for one yet so it was a new experience for all of us. When we first walked in no one seemed to be around or paying attention or greeted us; however, after walking around for a minute or two Lexi came to help us. She got my nephew, who's very lean and very tall (nearly six feet already) measured for a jacket, though the pants come unhemmed. I don't think they would have had time to do the alterations regardless of whether we came here the first day of their visit or not, but they're currently about two weeks out so the alterations will be taken care of when they get home. I purchased it for him as an early Christmas present and he chose a navy suit (well, he was persuaded that navy is a classic color, looked quite nice, and that black would be far too formal for him right now), as well as a purple plaid shirt to be worn with it. I can't wait to see a photo of him in it once it's all hemmed up. read more

The scan app to check in was a bit annoying and you had to give your phone number even if you're just looking around. The initial staff that helped me with my order and measurements were wonderful and extremely helpful. However, this is an overall rating so I have to review accordingly. It was when I returned my tux was the problem. I informed the person that was helping me with returning the suit. I informed them that there was a huge stain on the leg of the pants, the short sleeves were too short, and there was an odor that smelled like the tux wasn't cleaned properly. His response: well there's nothing I can do and my manager isn't here to help you. But you owe $20 late fee for being a day late. I was like, that's your response to an issue I brought to your attention? I told the guy I tried returning the day before but their hours were earlier. Missed them by 10 minutes and was rushing to get there on time but no one answered the phone when I called at 5:50pm on a Sunday. The guy did not have any care in the world and I only brought it up after I told him about the issues. He could care less and it was in the middle of the afternoon with no one in the store. The first girl looked and me when I first walked in and just walked out the store to do whatever so I was like ok, maybe this guy can help me. No greeting, no smile, just an empty look as if I was bothering them. I just paid my late fee and walked out because it was obvious the conversation was going nowhere. By far the worst experience I've encountered at this location and I rent from them quite often. The only reason why I even bothered giving them a 2 star was because the initial people that helped when I submitted my order were very friendly, older and wiser. This younger generation of customer service are just looking to get paid and could care less if you ever return. Well, I will be posting more reviews on other review sites as that exit interaction was not how customer service is suppose to be when there's ample competition elsewhere! I'll keep it short since it is upsetting to write a harsh review. Without a doubt, the worst shopping experience that I have ever encountered. My wife and I were ignored from the minute that we walked in the store. Helpful staff could not be found, though a few "younger folks" simply walked around the store, seemingly disinterested. We have had numerous nightmare issues with Men's Warehouse before (aka the wedding nightmare: some of the tux's were not anywhere near available for designated pick up, some of the measurements were way off, accessories missing, etc.) Fastforward, one year. We came to this location and received excellent customer service. My husband was fitted for a tux for a friend's wedding, and the whole process took 10 minutes. So accurate and time conscience! We had some expired credits on our account and the staff member went above and beyond to call customer service, verify our account, and get us those discounts. She didn't have to do that, but we noticed she was more than willing to. She also told us due to our purchase, we also received a 50% off discount for today. Informative! Tux pick up is scheduled for next month. Staff member explained renting agreement thoroughly. We'll see how smooth the pick up transition is, but this part of the transaction was flawless! read more

Saint was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in getting us outfitted, and Kamari and Martin were just as helpful in making sure we were sized up correctly. I went to this Men's Wearhouse location to get a new suit, because I've gained some belly since the pandemic and my current suit doesn't fit me anymore The team members at this place are excellent! They enforced proper social distancing decorum and were very efficient. I don't have the average body type, so it took a while to find a suit that would work for me. I probably spent almost 2 hours in the store, but it was worthwhile because they diligently helped me with my needs and find the suit I liked best. Shout out to Lena, Chantel, and Joe! You guys are rockstars. I usually get intimidated by sales folk, but you made my shopping experience very enjoyable. Tips: It seems like they get busier in the afternoon, so try to come in early. If it's chilly out, bring a sweater because they do enforce the people limit inside the store and you might have to wait in line outside. Also, they have been significantly busier since COVID restrictions have been lifted, so ensure enough time to get your suit and have it tailored - probably at least 2 weeks before you need your suit! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying on my new suit. I wear scrubs on the regular, so donning a suit kinda feels like an exciting endeavor lol read more

When it comes to shopping I know my stuff, but I'm clueless with a capital C when it comes to tuxedos....never really paid attention to them. My fiance bought a very nice tuxedo for the wedding at Saks, but we went to Men's Wearhouse to pick out tuxes for the rest of the wedding party. And I felt sorry for the poor woman who had to deal with us. Her; What kind of tux do you want? Us: dunno Do you want a tie or a bow tie? Us: dunno Do you want a vest in the tux? Us: dunno Which cuff links do you want? dunno Luckily with the sales woman's help and viewing lots of pictures we figured it out and there are now 10 tuxes awaiting the groomsmen to pick them up. Yep, big wedding party! And most of them have been married in the past few years so my fiance has rented many a tux from Men's Wearhouse in the past. It's convenient because they are all over the country so we've dropped off many tuxes on the way to the airport in Florida, Ohio, Michigan, and so on. Went here the other night for a fitting and was interested in purchasing. The employee wouldn't even take me in the back for a proper fitting. She measured my chest (incorrectly). She told me I was a 56 and I knew that wasn't correct. Put as little effort in as possible. She told me nothing was available in that size. I asked to try on a 54 and she gave me a jacket and it fit great. It was slim pickings for that size as well. When I asked if she could finish measurements so I could visit another location, she told me to get measured at that location. An embarrassing level of customer service here and obviously I'm not the first to point that out. I had to take my little brother here to get some school clothes tonight. We walked in and the place was slammed. It took a little while for us to be helped but once we were we were taken amazing care of. First by Lexi, and then by Josiah. Each of them took their time fitting my little brother (who's never owned or wore a suit before), while making him comfortable and at ease. Lots of troubles for what should be an easy process.... Bought a suit for a wedding. Was supposed to be an easy-plug in the code and everything would be smooth...since I am a groomsmen in a wedding. I had to get this fitting done before a bunch of projects myself...I don't really ever have to wear suits...It started with the tailor being sort of a jerk for not knowing cuts or anything about tailoring. I figure when you pay 700+ dollars for a whole suit-the guy who is an expert could be a little understanding or even helpful in making sure that "you are gonna love the way you look." Instead I was treated with anger and an insulting and tired attitude. The woman apologized for the interaction she saw take place. Went to pick up the suit...the coat didn't fit right and the shirt...tailor walked up and instantly had an attitude and I just wasn't going to take it this time...either way doesn't feel good getting all bent out of shape because one guy is an unprofessional sour puss. He hsould probably change jobs. Either way-they told me they didn't have the tie or pocket square either. One employee asked, "what are we gonna do about this" I said "I have no idea, this has never happened. I have the shoes at home, I will check if the tie and square are there but I am pretty sure I just have the shoes. I went home, got the bag off my shelf, where I stashed the shoes and such from that day so I wouldn't lose anything before the wedding-I only had the shoes. I called Men's Warehouse to inform them-the woman told me they send everybody home with the things they don't have to tailor. I said I was pretty certain I said I would come pick everything up so it was all together. The young woman checked, and no tie. Then went to check again...they found the tie! So I didn't have it! Then they checked on the pocket square for awhile. The n the manager got on the phone and told me that they back checked their inventory and because they had no extra pocket squares, they clearly must have given it to me. I said, "I don't have it, I need this to stand up in a wedding. Can you prove I took it? Security footage or something? I don't want to buy this again." The woman informed me, they send clients home with ties and all that doesn't have to be tailored every time, thus it was my fault and I would have to buy a new pocket square since they didn't have an extra in their inventory and that was all they could do. Picked up the suit today-pocket square was stuffed into the jacket pocket.... So yea, save yourself some headache, this place isn't worth the time, money and effort and they may lose your stuff. Or not apply coupons that you were supposed to have or not be able to find your wedding party number and such. Bad experience. But hey, if you want to be told they are very sure on their policies and that you lost items they insist they gave to you, to only find them later or if you want to have the wonderful meeting with a grumpy old tailor who will put you down for not knowing basic suit stuff...This is the place for you! Anthony was a poor consultant on Sunday, 8/27. He was argumentative, talking negatively under his breath, heavy sighs if I ask for a different size or to see something a second time. I bought a suit, but had a poor experience. However, I was later contacted by the store manager Kathy. She offered to meet with me to review suit options and help. I came back and ultimately ended up with the same suit. But Kathy's helpful process, the friendly demeanor, someone actually selling me on the suit. That made a difference. Kathy was willing to offer advice and feedback, and explain the best suit option for my frame. While I may have ended up with the same suit, the experience was 100% better and I was happy with my purchase this time. read more

Renting from here was the worst experience. Lots of unnecessary waiting and rude customer service while trying to sort out a suit rental. When I arrived to the wedding and opened the suit bag, there was no white shirt. If i could leave a zero stars review i would. Rented a tuxedo for over $200 dollars. When i went to try it on the service was terrible. They just left me in the fitting room. Never checked up on me. NEVER. i came out looked in the mirror for 10 minutes. No employee asked me a anything if i was ok. Went into the fitting room undressed and out everything back. Came out and asked if they had larger size shoes and was told simple no. We picked Mens Warehouse for our wedding tux rentals. We had 9 groomsmen, the groom, and 2 Jr groomsmen. All the groomsmen were in light gray and the groom and 2 jrs were in dark. We had a Jr and a groomsmen with the same name. Men's Warehouse had the wrong name with the wrong suit. We corrected this face to face with them 2 separate times and the day of the wedding... it was not fixed. So the groom and 1 of the 9 groomsmen had the same suit on. Ruined our photos. When we called them to fix it, they said "there is nothing we can do." Save yourself, don't use them. read more

At the end I told him I wanted to take a pair of pants in around the thigh and calf, he said sure and walked away... didn't ask how much, didn't take a measurement.. nothing. If I could leave less than one star I would. This location on Clybourn in Chicago is horrible. We came to this store after visiting another store outside of the city to order a suit for our wedding, because this location is only a mile or so from our home. We knew exactly what suit and sizes my fiancé needed, we just needed to place an order. Easy, right? Wrong! We were not greeted when we came inside, and the few people I tried to approach that worked there completely avoided me when I tried to approach them for help. We then went to the register to ask who can help us and were THEN told to please sign in. There were two other men there wandering around like us who we had to help and tell them they have to sign in to get help because they were just as confused as us. They had us sign the sign-in sheet and then they said "what can I help you with" . At this point we told them we needed to order a suit, showed them the suit number and the short female helping us acted like we likely won't get the suit in time for our wedding, which is 9 weeks away. We let them know the other Men's Warehouse we just came from told us 2-3 weeks to order this suit, so she went and got a manager who also said "nope it's 8-9 weeks. So we can order it but I can't guarantee you'll get it, so I don't know if you should." WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING the actual order time. I asked him to check the order times because we were told different, after hesitating and acting like he did not want to help us, he went to a back room and came back and simply said "okay we can order it" without explanation, and I asked for details and he said they must have just updated the order times because it would actually only be 3 weeks. OKAY SO now we get passed off to another person because the short female helping us doesn't do "custom orders". This gentleman, was taller maybe named Erwin?. I was putting a jacket back on the rack that my fiancé had tried on and I overheard him telling the first sales girl that he "didn't want to help us" and then he realized I was standing near and heard him and started acting more professional and asking the girl if we were here for a wedding suit. We finally got sat down with erwin(?) and I jokingly said "well I hope this will be easy from now on because we know what suit we want and we have his sizes!" And he replied "oh we can make this hard if you want" and then told us he wasn't sure we could have the lining we were hoping to order, before asking us to wait and walked away. At this point we waited several minutes and decided to take our business elsewhere and we left. We didn't get as much as a glance as we walked out. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. We are now driving back out of the city to order my fiancé's suit. Unbelievably horrible customer service. read more

I live in scrubs. It's bad enough that I am not the most up-to-date on the latest women's fashions, but now I have a boyfriend who thinks that I can help him choose his clothing. Yikes. With wedding season upon us, he dragged me to Men's Wearhouse to pick out a nice suit that would compliment my rotation of formal dresses. Thankfully, we met Dwight, the Assistant Manager. After he got a feel for our combined tastes (bf vs. me), he was able to make suggestions on the suits, shirts, ties, and shoes. Within an hour and a half, we were all set. My guy was wedding date ready! Dwight was very good during the decision making process, stepping away when my bf and I were discussing all the options. As you know, this can be a dizzying experience for any couple. We will definitely be back, if my bf needs suit #2. You never know! read more

1 star experience today but corporate got me to give an extra star. BE WARNED SHORT PEOPLE renting tuxedo's. I'm 5'6 and got fitted about 3 months ago. Just got my Tux today a week before the wedding. The shirt was way too long on me (beyond my knuckles). When I told them this, they told me that they don't have rental shirts for people with my measurements. Honestly this didn't upset me, what upset me was that they knew my measurements months ago and didn't tell me there would be an issue! Now I'm days away from the wedding with a shirt that makes me look like an absolute clown. The manager wouldn't take any responsibility. I called corporate and they were fine. Gave me $50 back, too. Overall, "I do not like the way I look" UPDATE: had to downgrade this to a 1 Star from a 2 star. I got to the wedding and they gave me a different tuxedo than the rest of the groomsmen! Had us sign in but was never spoken to. I came here to get fitted since I have no clue of my size and had heard they do complimentary fittings. I shopped around and found a couple T-shirt's I liked and then finally approached a a guy at the register who after standing there for a bit asked if I was ready to check out. I replied that I had found a couple things but was also interested in getting a quick fitting. He then replied he wouldn't fit me unless I had a group number or was purchasing a suit that day. On top of that he had an unfriendly demeanor and couldn't even stop whatever paper he was looking though to even fully be engaged in the conversation. Left the shirts on the counter and took my money elsewhere. ***Follow up** Ended up going to Monitor Formal Wear on the Northside. Got measured hassle free and much more pleasant. Terrible experience. This dive is poorly managed, and the tailoring staff is horrific, rude and unprofessional. Where do they find such unfriendly people? Wanted a new suit for a funeral, the sales person insisted I was a 38s, I told her I just purchase a tux a week ago, and I am a 40s. Long story short, 40s. How she would know this without measuring is beyond me. Got the suit I wanted, after she said they didn't have the pants. They did. So, got an email suit was tailored early. Went in to get it, tried it on and it was extremely tight, my finger wouldn't feet between my jacket button and stomach. A different tailor got all mad a me as if it was somehow my fault that his cohorts screwed it up. In a unprofessional manner, drew on my jacket and then threw the wax across the mirror floor. Then they tried to charge me to fix it, when I explained today to the so-called acting manager that I hoped he doesn't make it to big. "Hope not," he said. Where do they find these losers?! Went back 3 hours later (inconvenience to me) tried it on again, really little difference, couldn't find anyone to assist me, and left. Nobody at the front desk, just take what you want and walk out the door. Uggh...Coat was not pressed, loose threads all over the jacket, and lint. What were they going to do for me if I found someone to assist me? NOTHING! This place breeds of contempt. Go anywhere else. I will never return! read more
