Just walked up to him as he folded shirts, told him what I needed, and he took a couple measurements and showed me some options. After trying a few on, some other folks came in, delivered the ol' "funeral" to the question "what brings you in?". Anyway, the young man said to me "you know your size, so do you want to browse while I help these guys"? Really down to earth, you know? After about 20 minutes and a few questions, I picked my coat. Staff is very rude and dismissive. Very resistant to helping. They wont accept suits for tailoring unless they've been freshly dry cleaned. They claimed tailoring couldn't be done less than two and a half weeks but after name dropping they were able to do it in a week and a half. Well to start they gave me the wrong suit. I gave them the number for the grooms wedding and showed them pictures of what I needed and somehow they still got it wrong. Then a day before the wedding when I try to get the correct suit their employees were incredibly rude. One of them had to switch off on the phone because they were getting frustrated and kept being rude. Once the call was over and everything was set my girlfriend went in to grab the suit and dealt with even more rudeness. I can confidently say after this wedding I will never go to this men's warehouse again. Or any for that matter. It is highly unacceptable for their staff to be so rude when they messed up. Absolutely terrible experience! I was one of the groomsmen in one of my best friends wedding we went to get fitted together and were told the measurements would be saved all we had to do was go back for payment. I went back and they couldn't find my name or measurements I had to wait about 15 min before they found it through the groom. Then I had to try everything on and take the measurements all over again which defeated the purpose of coming the first time. Then after paying the groom picked up the suits for all of the groomsmen and some of the sizes were incorrect as well as the shoes we had to swap things out amongst each other expect for one of the groomsmen who had to go back all together because the jacket didn't fit correctly then after they gave him the new jacket it was even the same color and missing a front pocket. So he ended up using the incorrect one and was uncomfortable all night. Then I went to return the suit early today being that I used it on Saturday and was charged a $20 late fee but the groom came in earlier today to drop off 2 and wasn't required to pay so I'm not sure where the logic is there and when I said that neither employee was able to address that or give me an answer so I just payed the $20. I explained to the gentleman who was on the phone that I was referred to Will Moore and asked if I could speak with him, and then explained I needed a suit for a wedding and would also refer the wedding party to come in, he stated that he was too busy and to call back. why didn't he make an appointment with me or something? My fiance made an appointment to check out suits for himself & his groomsmen for our upcoming wedding. Prior to the appointment, they called him to get more details on color pallet, textures, how many groomsmen he had, etc. Upon our arrival to the appointment, we were greeted by a gentlemen who overall seemed confused. He didn't check us in on the computer to see the profile or preferences my fiancé had communicated prior to this. When my fiancé showed him pictures of what he wanted, he didn't seem to understand the assignment. He showed us swatches of the lowest cost brand and when we said we wanted a more ivory color, he was very hesitant and said that costed a lot more. He never asked our budget and seemed to assume we wouldn't have the cash to cover a more expensive line of suits. He then told us to walk around and check it out. He didn't give us any guidance or help or take any measurements. We might as well have gone to JC Penny instead of making the trek to men's Wearhouse. There were other sales people walking around that actually seemed to be taking measurements and helping. We clearly just got the crap end of the stick. read more

Walked in excited to pick out my first sports jacket. Was hoping for some help. Especially from the gentleman walking around with a measuring tape around his neck. No one greeted me, asked if I needed help or even approached me. I attempted to greet them instead and they walked by to go to the back room. I was the only customer in the store. I tried on a few jackets myself and was in the store for about 20 minutes then left. Service is what you would expect from a Walmart. What a shame and waste of my time. Taking my business elsewhere. So I brought in a suit for tailoring which I've purchased previously from men's warehouse so I can have a new suit to wear for a wedding And the manager was the person who conducted the fitting and took all the information on when the suit was needed for the event. So the suit was to be ready 2 days prior to the event. So they had 10 days to get it done. So on the day that the suit was to be ready I get a call that afternoon and a message was left on my voicemail indicating there was a problem and the tailor has not been in to work and they would have the suit ready for me on the day of the event. So today is the day of the event and guess what? After being left on hold a few times I was told the suit was not ready and that they can have it ready tomorrow. The nerve of these guys, or the incompetence! Clearly I reminded them it was needed for today not any other frigging day. So they wasted alit of my time, fuel and patience. read more

Men's Wearhouse is alright. They sell a particular "look" and it's often difficult to get things in the right size. Over the years, I have often had problems with upselling, at different locations in this national chain. Men's Wearhouse requires its employees to upsell, so they wouldn't see my vast upselling exposure as a problem. At this particular Men's Wearhouse, Brenton L. helped my spouse and I to achieve the impossible: leave the store with a suit and two dress shirts in-hand, no tailoring necessary. My spouse had an important, formal-dress work event come up at the last minute while we were traveling, and time was of the essence. We told Brenton what we wanted and needed, and he showed great care and attention to detail where my spouse was concerned. It took a while to find the shirt we needed (the way the dress shirts are displayed makes finding a particular color and sleeve combo even more dizzying a proposition than being a wand stockist at Ollivanders), but Brenton was patient and thorough. The event went off without a hitch, and my spouse looked great. Thank you, Brenton! We couldn't have done it without you. read more

If I could give this 0 stars , it would be too much. I purchased a bespoke 1500.00 suit for my son. He lost 50 pounds and were needed this tailored quickly due to his grandfathers funeral. There was zero concern for the circumstance, and were told that it would be several weeks. I offered to pay for expedited tailored which they agreed but first required I have the suit ( Which was never worn. ) dry cleaned. I dropped it off the next day and they backtracked on expedited processed and told me I was out of luck , better luck elsewhere I get that they are busy but I spent over 2500.00 in the suit, shoes , shirts and they act like this is nothing. So. no thanks Men's Warehouse. You have the worst customer service and I will never purchase so much as a cotton ball from you again. You truly suck read more

I rented suits here twice in a month, for two wedding, and will say disappointed twice. First fitting asked for fitted shirt and of course didn't get one and has to ask at pickup. Both rentals and the pants and shirts were far from pressed and can't believe they would actually give a shirt like that for a wedding. The second rental the front of the shirt was actually folded over and pressed. Both times had the iron the pants and the shirts. And I wasn't the only one, multiple people In second party had issues with their suits and how they aren't pressed. If ever in a wedding again, for what they charge for rentals could go to Kohl's and buy matching suits for while party for same price. Wouldn't recommend men's warehouse to anyone. read more

I went here today with my fiancé to get idea on suits and tuxs for our wedding in November. It was a busy Sunday in there. For one I could tell it was busy by the people inside, but do you know how I could tell it was ? Cause 3 different employees who approached us said they were too busy to assist at the moment but will get to us. But not in friendly in an angry way that they were short staffed. Finally a woman approached us, tried assisting us but she was not trained to measure and size, so she has passed us along to another a gentleman. Friendly at first, but again told us he had two couple ahead of us he was helping so it may take a little. We stood there and waited. One of the first employees,Jim, who said hello walking in jumped in. But this caused the other gentleman to say those are my clients, and continued to have a passive aggressive argument on who we "belonged" too. Jim even asked my fiancé "didn't I greet you first ?!" Super unprofessional and put my fiancé into awkward situation. Jim, whom fought for us then grabbed my fiancé's measurements. We already had enough and wanted to leave at this point. And Jim was super pushy and it was a huge turn off. My fiancé really just wanted to try some suits on and get some ideas for the wedding. But Jim measured away like we were ordering the suit right then and there. He asked if my fiancé planned on losing weight and exact how many inches ..? Lol who knows these things!! Oh, and this also while pinching my fiancé's lower belly area making him super uncomfortable and insecure. We walked in for some great deals on the custom suits but the customer service was so horrifying that I don't think it's worth it for us. We don't plan on returning. read more

Horrible customer service. Tried to spend our $400 "gift certificate" for having our wedding party rent their tuxes from men's wearhouse. Walked in, waited 10 minutes to even get 5 seconds of an employees attention. Turns out he didn't have the ability to help us. Told us to wait for the manager. The manager never came. Ended up shopping on our own. Store was a mess, sizes were not stocked. NOT ONCE did anyone approach us and ask us if we needed help. Took 15 minutes of waiting in line to cash out ... there were employees standing there, seeing us waiting to be cashed out, and they did NOTHING. The manager was right there and saw us waiting - didn't do a thing. Don't spend your money here - it's not worth it. read more

I've spent about $4k here in the past year due to a job change and my wedding. I have 6 suits, 7 dress shirts, 2 pairs of snazzy dress sneakers, and one casual shirt to show for it. Additionally, one of the suits is custom made, and the other 5 were altered from the rack. Which is all a long way of saying I shop here often. When I bought the 5 non-custom suits, the alterations were made, and the sales person cheerfully told me "free alterations for life for our suits". Cut to last week. I lost weight for the wedding. The custom suit was already altered again, in time for the wedding, which I greatly appreciated, and at no cost, which I had expected. So naturally, I brought in some of the other suits to get tailored again for my slimmer physique. Measurements are taken, suits are marked up by the master tailor for alterations, and I'm about to leave. The guy charges me $100 for the alterations. For 2 suits. After I've already paid triple that amount in alterations for those same suits at the time of purchase. He explains to me that when he said "free alterations for life", he meant only on the seams I have already paid to have altered. I never would have had the work done there had I known that. Do not be misled by certain sales people! Not all of them are bad, but this made me furious. I informed them that I will pay for this transaction, but this is my last time shopping here. Nobody cared, presumably because they can fall back on their wedding rental monopoly. Gross. Long story short - buy suits and tailoring services from local businesses! Even if its still a ripoff, at least you're helping the little guy. read more

We will NEVER use Men's Wearhouse again. We ordered the men's suits months ago for the wedding. Upon the scheduled pickup we were told they had not arrived. When calling twice daily we were put on hold for 45 to 60 minutes each time. The day prior to the wedding we were told they still were not in, but "would PROBABLY be here for the wedding day". Not very impressed with this store..they have great sales but I feel like it's all a big scam. They always try to charge extra for something and they never admit they are wrong. Recently I bought two identical suits, same brand, cut and size. One jacket was about an inch shorter in length and shoulder width the person I was dealing with said I bought a extreme slim fit....which is a lie because that brand doesn't offer extreme fit. I'm not a moron...I have around 15 suits. Just admit it was made wrong or tailored before. The manager did make it right tho so for that I give it one star! read more

I've dealt with this location twice in the past year and both times they have been terrible. The employees seem like they can't be bothered. They are rude and dismissive. I don't expect them to know that I'm spending $700 this summer on tux rentals (wedding season), but I do expect to be treated with respect as a customer. The other Men's Wearhouse location on Bald Hill Road (685 Bald Hill Road) however, is excellent. The people who work there seem to care about the customers and try to make the experience quick and positive. Men's Warehouse treated me well in 2012. I hadn't really needed to dress up often for my job in the past but a few changes in corporate culture turned that on it's ear. I went into Men's Warehouse looking for pretty much a new professional wardrobe. I did realize I was going to get the full-on sales pitch and up-sell experience but in this case I needed it. I was actually looking for someone to help me build interchangeable outfits and options. I was not looking forward to going into other stores and having to pick everything out....plus, I don't really have a good eye for that anyway. I received great attention and walked out with everything I needed....maybe a few extra items but I was okay with it at the time. After the tailoring everything fit great and I feel good wearing it. I have gone back several times to grab some single items. The salesmen have been great at not pushing too much of the up-sell (which I feel they are kind of known for so consider yourself warned!). I have also had a few items I wanted to return. If you sign up for their free club you don't need to keep track of receipts as everything you buy is in the system. Even items you purchase online are in your profile. The customer service both on the phone and in person has been top notch. The quality of the clothes has been great. I don't receive any junk mail or unsolicited phone calls. There might be other more inexpensive places to go and you may not like having to deflect the salesmen but if you do like some assistance and are looking for quality clothes I recommend Men's Warehouse. read more

Only went because of location, whereas I live in Warwick. The arrogant older male manager was dismissive and rude, called me a liar, literally and in front of other customers. This place is absolutely horrible. My mother purchased two shirts for christmas. French cuff. One was a tuxedo shirt. I could not find the receipt. I just wanted to exchange the tuxedo shirt for a French cuff dress shirt as she requested in the first place. That was not possible. They picked the tuxedo shirt for her. They didn't even know they sent her out with a tuxedo shirt. Must sell alot of those. I then had to spend the day looking for the receipt for an exchange. The first visit a waited 15 min for "Ron" the manager that never came out to help. The second visit he was at the counter. Didnt respond to my "How is your afternoon?" was already on the defensive, and seemed exhausted standing. Waist of my time and money. Rather spend $20 more at Jos A Bank and have great customer service. Quality just doesn't come in the shirt it also comes in the experience. read more
