Service is quick and friendly. I really enjoyed my raven ale pie with the raven ale gravey and extra veggies. The perfect meal! Also enjoyed the free ranger pie, though I'd recommend the raven ale over it. Do not skip the sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb ice cream! It was perfect and my favorite of many sticky toffee puddings that I had in England. Highly recommend if you're in Bath or the surrounding area!

The pub is unassuming on the outside but nice inside. There are two sections those for indoor dining and those wanting to sit outdoors or hang by the bar, we chose the latter. Outside is wonderful with a nice patio, plants, and plenty of shade. With the warm weather, this was a popular spot for folks. Service was friendly but limited. You order and pay for your food and drinks at the bar, they bring it out to you and that's it. I had a Lemon Chicken Pesto Sandwich. It was fine but nothing spectacular. I wish there was more filling to the sandwich, it was very bready. The fries (chips) were crispy and soft. My group enjoyed their meals as well and they looked good. Bath has lots of eateries and shops. If you're going to the Roman Baths or are in the main area, Crystal Palace is a nice spot to stop in for a bite or drink.
