She was going fast so didn't even slow down for the stop sign and when I blew my horn she just continued driving. This was in Sound Beach. But they kept calling to schedule lessons. I said I'll schedule when I have a date for the road test (still not telling me about the tight availability) so I get a call back they have a date. Ok now here's the interesting part the availability. Super limited with it all being within a week of the road test with 2 being on the day of the road test. My son had Eva for the first 2 lessons. I have the school call me stating Eva states my son is speeding through school zones and was going 50mph and has attitude issues with Eva. So I confront my son angry because regardless of the speeding I've taught my son better than to be disrespectful to people he is totally shocked surprised and doesn't know what I'm talking about. I call the school back they said that what they noted after dropping my son. That they will get more details and call me back. Nothing I kept calling back to find out what happened nothing. So day of road test now they sent a guy my son said he was cool and he passed. Lack of clear information lack of communication and unprofessional service provided by Eva.

I took road test 4 times before I met Jim, and this fifth time after having a lesson with Jim I passed. Jim is the person that knows everything about driving and road test; even in such a short period of time he taught me so much. He identified my weakness right away and he taught me tricks that helped so much. In terms of the "unprofessional" and "unorganized" that many people mentioned, I find it untrue. Jim picked me up before my road test on time, gave me a lesson, took me to test, and sent me home; everything went so well and on time. Compare to the big corporate that treats you like a number instead of a student, only wants to separate you and your money, doesn't care if you pass or not, Jim really cares about you. Jim is generally a good person; he's a decent, funny person who cracks so many jokes to make you laugh and relax you. It doesn't matter what's the world view or political view of one person; it's okay to hold different views because not everyone is born in the same era and grow up in the same environment. Jim is a nice person, terrific teacher and he has my respect. Overall, I definitely recommend Jim's Cornerstone.

One by one, all 5 of our children passed their road test with confidence. Not a bad thing to say about him, he is incredibly patient, encouraging and adjusts his teaching to match the kids' different personalities and learning styles. I rarely give 5-star review but I feel Coastal Insurance and their team deserve this recognition…read more Recently I purchased a house and my mortgage broker pushed me to use their insurance company for obvious reason. While the pricing is great, I wanted to compare both the rate and the coverage. I emailed 5 different insurance companies and 4 of them immediately said "we'll get you the same policy for the same money" but only ONE came back to me and said you are not being covered properly and there's conflicting info in the underwriting language. That firm was none other than Coastal Insurance (see attached email). While their policy came back to be $200 more, but their policy also offers substantially more coverage. I would've rather pay the extra money than to leave myself exposed to a potential loss and claim denial b/c I didn't read the fine print. In a society where speed and cheap trumps service and common sense, it's refreshing to see a company that is thorough and didn't "sell me on price and price alone." Just an FYI, they also have an affiliate that provide tax grievance service and have saved me thousands of dollars with my commercial and residential properties.
