Once we got off, we were right at the start of the awesomeness. This market is EXTENSIVE. We spent about three hours there eating, walking, and browsing and still felt as if we could have used more. There is an impressive array of fruit stands, chicken and barbacoa, clothing stalls, and everything in between. In addition, we were able to walk into this awesome hall of meat. It was very much like the 20 de Noviembre market in the city, but much larger.
We went on a Sunday, which was recommended, as I've heard it is the busiest, but I've heard it's open every day. Also, to note, there are a ton of stray dogs walking around. They are not aggressive, but might follow you if you have a bag of meat!
