It's a 45 min mat pilates class taught by Abby and Melanie. May 30th was their last rooftop class for now until it gets cooler out again. My cousins happened to find the event and 4 of us joined since there was a 2 for 1 deal (about $11 each!). It was my first time taking a mat pilates class and I loved it, minus the burning sun part. If this were in spring or fall, it would be perfect! I parked one below in the shade and as soon as I walked up, I could already hear the music the dj had on and it was just my kinda music. Surrounding the grass area were different vendors including Starbucks, a matcha bar, skin care, tarot, gummies, protein bars, bread and cookies, women's health, massages, IV shots, health coaching and merch. The details of the event didn't say to bring our own mat so two of us forgot to pack one. Luckily, the instructors had a bunch of extras for anyone who forgot. They also provided bands for everyone. Those bands killed us. You'll feel the burn the next day. In fact, my whole body was sore for a few days and I started feeling it already that same night. After the class ended, we browsed the vendors. I purchased some gummies (hair/nails and energy), had a quick tarot reading done, grabbed some freebies and 2purchased matchas. Would love to take more mat pilates classes in the future

We enjoyed the variety of stores and restaurants, both inside the mall and in the surrounding area, so there are plenty of shopping and dining options to choose from. The mall itself was clean, spacious, and a nice place to escape the summer heat. During our visit, we noticed there was quite a bit of construction taking place. Because of that, some areas of the mall were temporarily inaccessible, and a few elevators and escalators were out of service. While it was a minor inconvenience, it didn't take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a pleasant visit and would return. Once the construction is complete, I'm sure the shopping experience will be even better.

The Shops at Gainey Village is a nice upscale shopping plaza full of restaurants and businesses…read more There is a major organic food store in the plaza serving as the anchor store. There is an are no lack of restaurants to choose from. I saw a few clothing boutiques as well. Located on Scottsdale & Double Tree Road, it is easy access from the freeway or street. Plenty of parking and many of the larger businesses have WiFi.

We had driven by this: -bigger than EVER imagined- enlightening area of variety of places to venture!!!! (Never knew of its excitement within!!),.. We could NOT believe,- (as we drove around a few times),- how many places are actually here!! AND,.. how spread out this place really is!!!! Wowwww!!!!!!!! As much as we have been by and near here,.. we never, ever,.. had a thought,.. ** to even bother to venture behind the few surroundings of buildings and all, that face the drive down Scottsdale Road!!!! The clientele, the cleanliness, the strong mix of high-end retailers and the restaurant offerings made this mall look like Beverly Hills! Only missing in the mall was a high-end car dealership (although Mercedes-Benz was only a few blocks away featuring AMG's)! We didn't have time to shop, but definitely eye candy stores everywhere...LV, Rolex, Celine, Tiffany's, Cartier, Prada, Balenciaga to name a few. Restaurants were great too; Barcelona Teleferic, Elephante, Catch, and Din Tai Fung (which we ordered to go since there was a 1.5 hr wait). My ex husband picked me up soup which is all I can eat is Wildflower's potato soup.. yum. But my ex-husband had picked up soup for me and the bread accidentally got left out and I spoke with Anthony and as stupid as it sounds I was in tears. Just needed a break and no way to go get the bread. He himself personally drove over another order of my soup an entire loaf of bread and some tea for me. Sometimes it's still small little things that can make a difference, but that is excellent management and customer service. And he could not have been kinder either. But I highly recommend this wildflower. I appreciate beyond words the kindness that was shown to me tonight and I think the food is excellent! So try this Wildflower out! They are excellent!! Many of the restaurants had outdoor covered seating to enjoy a meal. If you walk toward the north end of the mall, there is a walkway to the beautiful lake. There is a pretty path to walk or bike on. There's a grassy area as well for sitting to enjoy the sights. WiFi available at certain businesses.

Now I have to say during the day this area doesn't look like much....but at night it transforms into a bit of magical wonderland in the middle of the desert.
