As we did in 2017, we also climbed Devils Tower. And we built up an appetite. Driving in we saw the sign "Best Bison Burgers..." and that sounded good... shortly after climbing, we were welcomed by Jonah and seated and ordering. We had worked up an appetite... about 15 minutes later the three of us had enjoyed 5 bison cheeseburgers, with house made chips, and extra pickles. My husband and I spent oodles of dollars there over the years. I have since moved from the area, and on a recent visit "back home," I was dismayed at the changes to what used to be a charming little store, and a real gem in the Black Hills. The business was recently sold, and the new owners have turned it into a pitiful version of the charming business it was for years and years. They got rid of all of the vintage antiques. They now devote almost half of the store to fabric and quilting supplies. It's ironic that they carry such a vast amount of kitschy made-in-China crap, especially when so much of it touts ultra-right conservative, "patriotic" sentiment. I left the store feeling disappointed, offended, and just downright sad. Because I still have family in the Black Hills, I will come back often for visits, but will never spend another dollar in the store I once loved.

A lovely bouquet is selected. The card is written. The delivery address is being taken down. When Mary, informs me had selected a floral shop in South Dakota. When the flowers were to be delivered in Wyoming. Mary and the shop owner were so understanding. During my profuse apologies, and ready to ring off and search for a Florist in Wyoming. When Mary said "Hold on, we can still help! Mary and her Employer found two names and phone numbers for two floral shops they felt comfortable recommending. After care like that.
