This level of overcharging is unacceptable and feels exploitative, particularly during a time when small businesses were struggling for survival. Furthermore, the yearly accounting and filing fees were consistently excessive, without justification or transparency. More importantly, at no point were we properly advised or educated on how to maximize tax codes, credits, and deductions available to us. As a result of this lack of professional guidance, we have since learned that our business likely missed opportunities to save millions of dollars. On top of that, their yearly filing fees were astronomical, and we never received any real tax planning advice. We later learned that their lack of guidance and failure to educate us on available tax strategies likely cost our business millions in potential savings. Their practices feel predatory, and we cannot recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, transparent accountants.
