They had a decent selection of soaps and bodywashes priced fairly compared to the original prices in Europe. If you are not familiar with the brands, you may still be impressed by the goods - we ended up purchasing some specialty sodas and unique potato chips along with other snacks. Excellent and friendly service from the staff. Wish the selection was bigger and some things more affordable, I noticed they had a section of discounted goods that were close to or past their best before date therefore I think this shop doesn't get enough customers or may not sell enough products.

If you are familiar with the french Top Discount chain, then this store will offer similar items but at a cheaper prices. The appeal of Simply Gourmet is that they sell many items at a rebate since the food is approaching, or has surpassed the "best before" consumption date. Now most of these items are chips, cookies or dry snacks for example - which are perfectly good and safe to eat several weeks/months past the best before date. This prevents waste and ends up being an incredible steal for consumers. There were many imported snacks priced at under a dollar, some as low as 30 cents, which is unheard of in this economy nowadays. I left with multiple bottles of bbq and dipping sauces which were made in Belgium - delicious and awesome value as they were under a dollar each. The store also has a small refrigerated bevarage section so you can get speciality Fanta for example from France or Asia - these are all drinks that are not normally sold at your typical gorcery store. The back of the store had a small section of imported body care, like body washes and soaps that are made in France. I would recommend checking out "Simply Gourmet" on Facebook as their page posts photos of new arrivals and specials. I'm taking away a star for how small the shop is, seems like within 5 mins you have seen everything, so unless you are in the area it might not be worth a drive to come from so far as the selection is pretty limited. Also, the store shares a wall with a neighboring barbershop and for some reason that business blasts very loud hip-hop/rap music which can be heard from inside this store. The sound was aggresive and very loud, to the point of feeling the vibrations everywhere so this made for a not so fun experience... unfortunately not Simply Gourmet's fault but eventually I think the owners of each business in this strip mall should step up and ask the barbershop to tone down their music as it affects everyone there.
