And the "garçon" was an absolute scream: he could crack a joke on French and English, with a peppering of Arabic, for emphasis. For breakfast there are options of a full service meal in the restaurant, or a quick croissant coffee and yogurt at the bar. I chose the latter. Though the service wasn't as efficient as the restaurant, it all worked out. Rested and fueled for a day of meetings. Highly recommend for business overnight accommodations.

MINISTER OF HEALTH come here now!!!…read more The absolute worse Novotel Hotel!!! When you replace wet, used, on-the-floor towels that were used to bathe in the morning and wipe off wet floors back on the shower rack then the Minister of Health should shut down such a Hotel. We asked for extra bath towels and were told bluntly that they did not have any. We explained that we cannot use damp and dirty towels to dry off after an evening shower that was badly needed especially after a long and tiring day in Paris. The Afro-French receptionist at the Front Desk said he knew of this practice to replace towels on the floor back on the shower rack and moreover stated he did not care about my concern. We asked to speak to the Manger on Duty but was told there is no managing entity to oversee any issues so late in the night. We had to raise our voice before the rude and outright inconsiderate Afro-French receptionist decided to walk down to the end of the hall and fetch us our clean, dry, off-the-shelf bath towels. When a hotel thinks it can skimp out on properly providing a safe and clean environment for its patrons it is time to write a letter to the Minister of Health in France. Very disappointed with this Hotels blatant disregard for hygiene and health. Stay Away...there is another Novotel in Saclay.

Nice Hilton. I had a spacious corner bedroom. This Hilton is near the Orly Airport, in Orly the…read moresuburbs of Paris, so it's quiet - just what you need if you're suffering from jetlag. Room service was well-priced, if you need it. Kind staff and pretty good food at decent prices. But, especially if you're American and not used to rich food, this Hilton has the "French touch" and uses lots of butter. This is the French way. I had gotten a burger, and it was very good, but also much richer than an American burger, so I could only eat half of it, which is unusual for me. I'd stay here again if I'm in the Paris vicinity.

As a Hilton Diamond member for most of my life, I have met so many amazing Hilton employees. This…read moreparticular Hotel is not your typical Garden Inn. It is owned and managed by some backward thinking individuals. Take the sloppy thug-looking guy at the front desk named Hardwin. We have had numerous problems on this 5-day stay. But tonight Mr. Abrasive Hardwin says that tonight they are starting the new policy to not offer Diamond members free bottles of water. He says it's too expensive and they have a filtered tap water system to fill up old bottles, which I don't have. Mind you, in the prior 3 nights we have been provided with several comped bottles of water, from at least 3 other managers who informed us that because I am a Diamond member we take care of it. But not with Hardwin at the helm. He said, I don't care if you are Diamond or not; no more water. Again, he was totally rude about it and the only thing I can think of him is that he must be the owner's son. If not, Hilton should carefully review his track record. Nobody acts like this out of the blue; he must have been acting like this to many others in the past! Nobody needs this guy's pity nonsense.
