[airport transfer service]…read more We selected this hotel based on its close proximity to the CDG airport AND that they advertise free shuttle from and to the airport. We arrived at the airport and called the number and the recording stated no shuttle available and we need to get own transport. Then when we arrived at the hotel, they said they can only provide shuttle to one terminal and not the other due to airport regulations and of course, it was our terminal. HOWEVER, the front desk staff (Emir and another which I forgot to get her name) listened to our concerns and frustrations and were able to contact Marriott to highlight the website's false information and they kindly arranged transport for us the next morning. They did a GREAT job resolving the mishap and were very kind through the process. I must say - this was the BEST Marriott staff at correcting a problem. Kudos to this team! Hotel itself was nice, clean, and was somewhat close to CDG. The staff at the restaurant and bar were also very kind. What started out as super frustrating when we landed at CDG ended up being a relaxing last night in Paris. Would I go back? Yes.

Dates of stay: September 9 - September 13, 2022 Room: 204…read more I was optimistic that this hotel, just outside of Paris, would be the perfect place for the Paris portion of our honeymoon, but it was pretty disappointing on multiple fronts. The first is that there was no upgrades available; seems odd that a Diamond member staying four nights would get a little something, but apparently not. Not the end of the world, just another little thing to add to the pile. Check in was at least efficient, we were able to get our keys and get over to our room within just a couple of minutes. The room however, left much to be desired. Not even sure where to start: The piece of art near the door was taken off the wall and remained sitting on the shelf in the entryway for the entire stay. There were hooks in the living room for another piece of art, but that was nowhere to be found. The room was relatively spacious for France, with a decent-sized closet and television, plus a small couch with a table that would have been good for a meal brought into the room. The mini fridge was helpful for stashing waters to keep hydrated and USB ports were plentiful for charging. The bed was also firm and had enough pillows for both of us. The bathroom was a big disappointment. There is no shelf in the shower, which is very small. I ended up tucking a towel into the rack in the back and stuffing items into the folds. Sadly, each day housekeeping undid this and I had to redo it to take a shower. The counter in the bathroom is a bit too small for two people though I appreciated the makeup mirror to check Housekeeping was scattershot; some days we received more water and others we did not. Some days we received a new complement of toiletry items and some days we did not. A crib sat a couple doors down from our room in the hallway for the first two days of our trip. Thankfully it was devoid of children when we came across it! The carpets on the second floor always looked as though they hadn't been vacuumed in days and I was relieved that I never dropped anything on the floor as I would then have to determine if I wanted to risk picking it up again or leave it as a gift of the wind, given the condition of the carpet. The gym was decent for the size of the hotel and never too busy, though why they left a giant container of disinfectant wipes open on the counter instead of in the container just above it was odd to me; each morning I had to throw away several dry wipes to get to one that would actually disinfect. Do not use the currency exchange services! When we visited, the Euro was at about even with the dollar, but the hotel was offering .77 Euros to the dollar, a giant windfall for the hotel! I just wish the other Hilton hotels in Paris weren't so expensive as this one was a bit of a dud.

They are currently undergoing renovations and the usual entrance wasn't accessible. There is nowhere by the hotel to physically drive up to it. You have to park far away and walk no matter what. They are attached to the CNIT Center, which would've been helpful to know when trying to find this place late at night (after 9pm you cannot enter the hotel through the daytime entrance). There is a parking garage conveniently located nearby to park at and they are also right at a metro stop, which was useful for coming and going around the city. The bathroom was gorgeous in our room. The bed was comfy. What I found odd is that the window is not actually to the outside, it's looking into the CNIT center. Really messed with the overall lighting in the room. If coming to Paris again, I'd opt for a hotel more conveniently situated for accessing by car, but this spot is nice and the staff are helpful.

The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. Our room was warm and stuffy, so we called the front desk thinking maybe something was wrong with the AC. Instead, we were told that the hotel only runs the AC during the summer months. That was pretty shocking to hear. The room was uncomfortable and opening the windows didn't really help much. They did offer to move us to another room that faced a different direction so it wouldn't get as much sun, but they also said there was no guarantee the AC would work there either. That just sounded ridiculous. At that point it felt like there really wasn't any solution. For a hotel at this price point, and especially one under the Marriott brand, having no air conditioning available is unacceptable. It's a basic comfort you expect when booking a hotel stay. Overall this was a really disappointing experience. I definitely didn't expect this level of inconvenience, and unfortunately it completely changed how I feel about staying here. I won't be coming back.

They will go out of your way to make you stay memorable. I highly recommend this area as it is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and prominent restaurants like the famous Carette for their Chantilly Hot Chocolate. A must to visit. Also close to Monoprix for some fresh baguettes or snacks (and grocery needs and hot meals on the go). I cannot wait to return to Paris and stay here again. Thank you beautiful staff.

It did have a king bed with just enough room for a rollaway bed at the foot of it for our daughter. This left barely enough room to walk from one side to the other. Our view was of a wall of windows on the other side of a small courtyard. Bathroom was adequate. Shower was very moldy, but had sufficient water pressure. The construction noise is ever present. From early to late. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast was very good, but pricey at around 32 euro pp. You'll pay a premium for this hotel solely for the location. Everything was within about a mile from us. Otherwise, this hotel is just....meh.

You are also at the mercy of having a competent person inputting your correct information and communicating this to you. So far, the only plus is the upgraded view I was given. Mistakes by the front staff slowed my progress towards breakfast this morning and was resolved by a competent manager. The floor is quiet, and the fitness center has average equipment. I guess that's pretty typical for Marriott brand hotels in Europe. Parking is very tight if you drive into the parking lot. Except for the front desk blunders, it has been a decent stay.

Located adjacent to the St. Cloud hippodrome and Paris Country Club the surrounding neighborhood is quiet while still within walking distance of a shopping center and supermarket. The hotel itself is quite modern and the rooms are as one would expect of a Renaissance property, the staff is very friendly and provides exceptional service. The nicest aspect of this hotel is that it provides the convenience of shuttle service to the train station or nearby places in the form of a luxury vehicle, in our case a Porsche Panamera, not many hotels still have this perk. Additionally, the hotel has a small fleet of electric vehicles that it rents out to its guests at a reasonable rate. The hotel restaurant is great for breakfast albeit not so much for dinner. I went twice for dinner and both times was disappointed in the menu selection and more importantly in the meal itself, which was bland and uninteresting. Perhaps I would be less critical if the restaurant were located in suburban New York but given that it is in suburban Paris I expected more. There is no doubt that there are closer choices but none are as tranquil as the Renaissance Paris Hippodrome and the few have the service to match. The availability of a fleet of electric cars for rent makes this an excellent choice when staying in Paris.

The hotel is elegant and very comfortable. The people are what make this hotel. Beyond their great hospitality they speak several languages including English, accommodating customers from across the world. The only thing that I didn't love was the price, avg €500 per night per room. The reason was prime season and the football championship game that sent prices to €1000 per at all nice hotels for the weekend, yikes! I think this hotel typically runs €225 - €350 per night.

Great boutique hotel close to all of the important landmarks in Paris…read more We arranged transfers from Eurostar Gare Nord to hotel through their concierge, it was seamless. Upon arrival, warm greeting by Simon and the offer of beverages and a snack (which included champagne). We booked two rooms, one was upgraded to a suite because of a birthday. The suite was huge and it had a big free standing tub, two sinks and shower. Also fireplace, tv embedded in a large mirror and two large windows which open onto small balconies with bistro tables and chairs, and a little view of the Eiffel Tower. Slippers, bath robes, lots of complimentary water, pod coffee station -- and a lovely bottle of champagne on ice for our arrival. We forgot to turn off our dnd sign when we went out so they called to ask us if it was a mistake. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered an option to order an omelet off the a la carte menu. Only negative is the very limited menu in cafe 52, strange (healthy?) options. Basically the kids menu was the only choices that were remotely interesting. All in it was really good and I'd stay there again.
