We hoped to remove some low-hanging beams in our home, and the first time that Nick showed up, he was completely unprepared and said that he couldn't evaluate anything until we cut holes in the ceiling ourselves. We cut the holes and rescheduled a second visit an entire month later (what a waste of time). Nick drew up shoddy architectural plans that multiple contractors told us wouldn't work after demo-ing my family room. When I asked Nick for my money back, he was cold and dismissive of the multiple contractors' genuine concerns about fire hazards and safety risks in Nick's Plan B, after his Plan A was deemed completely infeasible. At this point in the saga, we have spent months with a torn apart family room, paid for bad architectural plans, paid to have the family room demolished, and now have to pay to repair the room to its former state without anything to show for it. I was surprised to be gaslit and put in such a stressful financial position by this company - I hope you can avoid similarly wasting thousands that you won't get back.

The house itself was built in 1886, so the steps were likely made back then too. I made numerous calls to places but it seemed no one wanted to work a job less than $5,000... Until I found this place right on here. Am I glad I did? Definitely! They did an amazing job for a great price. I called them up in January asking about an estimate. Daniel came out to my place within days while I was at work to check it out. Luckily, I didn't have to ditch work to be there. He gave me an estimate of $2,500 to repair the steps and seal them, which would be a two day process, scheduled for when it got warmer around late March. The company requested 1/2 of the price as downpayment, $1,250. On the last week of March, the crew came in on Wednesday to clean the steps and patch, and they were very respectful to my property. The next day, they came back to seal it up, even fixing the three steps leading to my front porch withour adding to the estimated price. When I came home after thet were done, I was absolutely pleased by the job they did, especially for the price. My steps look brand spanking new and I have the peace of mind knowing they're safe. This company is super-responsive, very friendly, and truly great at what they do. After interviewing a few other builders and architects, we knew this was the best choice. Due to their high demand, waiting to get started was the hardest part. Then, Jeff managed the project and the builder Josh provided multiple photos and detailed daily updates--as well as pleasant and engaging on-site discussions. The craftsmanship, problem-solving, and fairness in pricing is unmatched. One important part of the project was an outdoor sauna, shipped from Europe. The team took this on to build the kit, wire the heater and lighting, and make it a centerpiece on the exposed aggregate patio, along with a custom-placed hot tub that's accessible from ground and deck. The deck with a large, covered pergola will probably last for decades. Just a few more points...they ALWAYS left the site safe and neat each day, communicated what things were coming up, and overcame unforeseen site issues quickly in ways that made sense. The entire team is great to work with--honest, transparent, responsive, and collaborative. I usually have buyers remorse for any large purchase. Not with this one.
