We had a moment of confusion concerning my gender, but the Medical Staff was only unfamiliar with my paperwork dilemma. ("Is this an Insurance form or a Medical Form?" is the sort of question a Non-Binary person has to ask when there is only a binary checkbox and it is almost never labeled with the correct terminology. Obvs, nobodies fault stuff like that happens all the time. :) The Medical Assistants were all quick, efficient and genuinely pleased to be of service! They got me in early for my appointment too. I won't say my Doctor's name, but they were openly and respectfully curious as to how they might be of service to a Transgender Person, when so often the past told a different story. :( My Doctor addressed my every concern and meeting with them was very pleasant. The fish tank next to the check-out desk has an _Actual_Literal_Sea_Urchin_! They are very black, except for their orange rude part, and about nine inches across. The Staff Person at the check-out desk was friendly and enthusiastic! They walked me through every step of the check-out process with a smile! The Medical Assistant thanked me for coming in today! I am totally 100% assured that they will follow up with me at every opportunity and that our relationship will continue to be successful and pleasant.

She never did, went there the next day in person and spoke to a nurse practitioner (Beth)who changed the prescription. Her attitude was horrible, told me I was rude for asking to speak with someone in person. She said that my situation was not an urgency, and that it was rude to show up in person to ask for the correction to be made. Then she went on to claim that the reason behind their ineptness was lack of employees. Let me be frank, she is an awful person with a passive aggressive attitude who should not be allowed to speak with patients. Please avoid this place

I had been was told on a previous visit that Mondays and Tuesdays during the day are very crowded but the two times I was there in the middle of the night there was no wait time at all. And of course the lack of traffic makes a difference when you're in pain. I was seen 10/28 by Dr. Salin and he was extremely competent, clear, calm, and friendly, a real mensch. The nurse, Jared, was also great. We are lucky to have this facility right here in Okemos!

Absolute horrible service! They really need to learn to accommodate their patients betters. My son…read morewent to his scheduled appointment with his grandfather, as he has done many times in the past. This time they couldn't find the release and sent them home! They could have at least faxed me a new release at work and still seen my child as scheduled.
