(allowed to ring for shorter and longer times, then rejecting immediately, no voicemail box, etc) but when they finally responded to my google review in the public's eye, they made sure to mention that I can contact them anytime to discuss the matter. Sure. They have also chosen to stand by the void lease with my forged signature when finally emailing me back. A lease with a forged signature is not enforceable, therefore ( by law ) it is not legitimate and enforcing it violates multiple basic NC laws. But they "must follow the guidelines" ( whose guidelines? ones that they can make up on the spot? Ones not adhearing to NC business laws? who knows. ) I am a human being. I have only insisted on basic human rights, after I survived what happened. Because this threatened my life. I lived there, it was my home, too. Everything I've ever owned and carried through life is still inside that apartment. I have to keep insisting that I did not deserve to have everything taken away from me, simply because my ex wanted to move new people in to replace me. When they'd rather let their tenants get thrown onto the street due to the actions of an abusive spouse than do the right thing, they should not be allowed to manage and control anyone's housing. -- Steer clear of this place, management will not take action against illegal activity from tenants. My abusive spouse forged my signature to terminate my status on the lease when I lived here, effectively leaving me homeless while dealing with a chronic illness that I was made to miss treatments for. Management did nothing when made aware. Since my ex got away with forging my signature and was able to move more people in and out, me being off the lease also allowed the use of threats any time I said I was coming back to get my belongings-- including my own pets. My ex is also still evading divorce service after all this time while protected by management here. I had talked to the people in the management about everything, where they seemed sympathetic. They then went radio silent any other time I tried reaching out for help on returning. Since someone forging a signature to move others in and out is blatantly illegal, there is no reason for them to avoid a tenant breaking the law to such a degree. I had done everything expected of me, filed police reports locally, and the detective assigned just never responded to me either. No help from any sides, so now i just have to pray that im able to afford the right lawyer. There are plenty of other places to rent around this beautiful area, there is no reason to trust the staff here when a place of living should be protected for your safety. I didnt think I would survive having a home taken away from me, and people who could've done something chose to do nothing. The opposite of nothing, actively letting someone break the law and continuously renewing their lease.

(Warning: Really gross photos)…read more DO NOT LIVE HERE. I hope my warning can save some people from suffering through a similar experience. I lived in Kensington Park (which is managed by this company) for a year and it was probably the biggest mistake of my life to this date. First off, because of terrible plumbing issues that were hidden from renters, instead of being addressed properly, RAW SEWAGE backed up into the bathtub and leaked onto the bathroom floor. You can imagine me and my roommates' shock and disgust when we came home and saw that this was happening... It happened at night on the weekend so it took several days before it was resolved. It took several days before someone came to clean and "decontaminate" the bathroom (with a spray bottle of clorox and some cut up cloth rags...super reassuring...) (In the meantime we had to go to Burger King whenever we needed to use the bathroom. Since our unit only had the 1 bathroom we were literally SOL) You can also imagine how horrified we were when this happened A SECOND TIME. Whatever the problem was, it was obviously a problem with our whole building (not just our unit) because some of our neighbors were talking about the same issue. Once again it took several days for the management to address this, even though that's clearly an extreme health and safety issue. Later on, I was home at night with one of my friends and we heard some concerning gurgling sounds in the bathtub. I couldn't believe this was happening for the THIRD TIME but since it had already happened twice I was pretty much resigned to what was about to happen so I just took everything out of the bathroom so it wouldn't get contaminated. Unfortunately, this time was worse because the sewage liquid not only spread across the whole bathroom floor but also soaked into the CARPET outside the bathroom and THROUGH THE WALLS into the kitchen (where we could see brown water on the kitchen floor, all the way to the refrigerator and behind the oven) and the laundry room (where it soaked into a box that I had in there for my tv). They did some remodeling to the kitchen but didn't replace the carpet or do anything about the laundry room. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we had the sewer also backup into the KITCHEN SINK and DISHWASHER. Considering this happened 3 times in the timespan of a 1 year lease, I have to wonder how regularly this has happened in the past and how much of that contamination was actually dealt with properly (and not with cloth rags and cleaning spray...I feel bad for the lady they sent to clean this, who didn't even have gloves on...) Oh, and by the way, our building was also infested with cockroaches and crickets. (When we complained about it the management didn't seem to think it was a big deal and so we just had to live with it and buy our own roach control products.) But at this point I'd take cockroaches over a bathtub full of other people's crap any day. THE GOOD NEWS IS, if you stay far away from this place, you won't have to choose between either of those!

I have driven past this area many times on Glenwood and was totally unaware of this property. I came from another "luxury" complex and after some time to settle in this complex is MUCH nicer than my last! Unmatched amidites, Great floor plans & views, Lots of pets & young adults while still being very quiet. I am very happy with my new home and would recommend anyone looking for a true "luxury" apartment give this place a look and I think we may soon be neighbors! Amidites are overall much nicer here than my previous apartment. Cool things like a pet spa and indoor dog park that I have LOVED! Fresh Market, Yoga Studio, Sushi Bar & Traditional Restaurant/Bar with a full golf simulator all within 100 yards of the leasing office. Plus, Wine Bar/Bistro opening soon! My Leasing Specialist, Mary Peyton, was an all star! She went above and beyond to get me in my desired apartment ASAP! Not to mention on a weekend as well! To name just a few, for months after moving in, I had a broken AC, incorrect wiring where the bedroom light would randomly turn on, broken washing machine where I had to go upstairs to use another unit, broken door fobs leaving entrances unable to be used. And the worst of all, the fire alarms that would sound at random times during the day and night. The false "fire alarms" randomly sounding occurred during my entire 14 month lease. Residents would leave the apartment and sit outside during the middle of the night waiting for the wailing alarm and flashing lights to be shut off. Management was unkind and dismissive. The only pleasant experience I had was with Randy the maintenance man.

have been a resident at Midtown Green since 02/14/2020…read more I've been borrowing my mom's car since then, which is registered in NY. The car hasn't been back in 2 years to be inspected so I don't have an up to date registration. I have an official letter/form from the NY Dept. of Motor Vehicles saying that they are aware and I have an exception. I left my car for almost 2 weeks in the same spot to ATTEND MY FATHER'S FUNERAL (which was 5 days ago) and my car was fine. I had been in town 24 hours and my car was towed, for my apartment lot, with my park placard on it. I explained the situation to Unlimited Towing and they just want their money and said I was parked on private property (which is weird since it's essentially my drive way) I called Midtown Green's leasing office and their Community Manager wouldn't even get on the phone with me. They said I needed to take it up with Unlimited Towing and that they would not reimbursement the $240 it will take for me to get my car back and that they had nothing to do with it I would have to talk t unlimited recovery. Someone called a towing company to have me towed so I called my NEW apartment complex, Park Central (shout out to Hannah for being the absolute best) who gave me the number for Kane public safety. I also explained to her the situation and she said i would be put on a list so that I would never be towed from their deck. I called Kane Public Safety and they said that all they do is patrol the deck and that they don't know who is supposed to be there and who isn't AND that they definitely are not looking at expired tags. I was told that SOMEONE in my LEASING OFFICE had to call and request Unlimited Towing to come get my car. I would give this apartment complex a 0 if I could solely for this situation alone. Pay the extra money and move to Park Central.

After signing the lease, management is cold, dismissive, mean & JESSICA is a nasty manager. I will explain further below. "Newly" renovated townhouses are unleveled, closets were falling apart, thick paint job, roaches that we had to personally pay for someone to professionally get rid of because a man w/ a can of raid is NOT going to fix that issue. It takes forever for them to fix anything and be careful because once you put in requests to have things fixed they will put in the system that they fixed it when they never entered your home. Take PICTURES/VIDEOS. We took PLENTY since they're known to play with people's security deposits. Also, My hubcaps were stolen a week after moving in and people continued to steal them as the year went on as I replaced them -_- don't move here. Secondly, If you have ever lived here and put in a notice to vacate within the last year contact corporate IMMEDIATELY or SUE. It is NOT 60 days to hand in your notice to vacate. JESSICA has been purposely telling tenants that they owe for the month AFTER their lease is up because it is a 60 days vacate notice and not a 30. It is a LIE & they've been committing FRAUD and if you paid that EXTRA month after finishing your lease you are legally entitled to your money. She needs to be fired because there is no telling how many hard working families she's scammed. I reiterate again TAKE PICTURES AND VIDEOS!!!!
