The shop is well stocked and could perhaps be considered overwhelming yet the energy is transformative to say the least. I barely got in the door when I was accosted with a hard sales pitch and had a tray for crystals aggressively thrust at me. I politely declined it, saying again I just wanted to look around a bit first. Then, the woman, the owner, I assume, tried to take my phone to put in her website, even though I told her I could easily find it online at home. Then, she tried to do the same with her Instagram. I really don't like people grabbing at or taking my phone. You never know what they're going to do. I gave her the same reply. The store has some lovely things, the same things as every other store of that kind has, and I already have most of them. As I looked around, I felt very uncomfortable. I could feel her angrily watching me. When I made my way back to the front, I asked her about those crescent crystals. She brought them out of a display case and told me they were $36., each, which I thought was way too much for what they were. At second glance, their shapes weren't even all that appealing to me, certainly not for that price, which she kept lowering. Still, I politely declined. I simply did not care for it but did not want to tell her that. One thing I really hate is the rudeness of aggressive sales people, especially when they won't accept that "no" means no, no matter how politely it's phrased. I also don't like when a proprietor gets angry at someone for not wanting to buy something. I don't understand this breach of a buyer's prerogative. This was a turn off for me and made me quite uncomfortable and a little irritated as well. For this reason alone, I will not be going back. At that time, I was the only customer in the store. Perhaps this was why. People in general do not like aggressive sales people or haggling. I know I don't. I will not be bullied into buying something I do not like or want.
