My external hard drive crashed. I took it to a data recovery business near me, but they were unable…read moreto recover any data after keeping my drive for two months. They recommended that I send it to the $1200 (starting) company that dressed up in space suits in a dust free room to take the drive apart. I passed. Instead, I searched the internet and found Jeremy Andrew who turned out to be the Tony Hawk of computers. He had found and resaved my data within three days. He told me that the defective HD had an internal spinner (like a hamster wheel!) and recommended an upgraded HD that I now use (with all the recovered files). I'm glad that I didn't give up and am grateful that Andrew exists. He's the best. So, be sure to double, triple back-up your data and call Andrew if ever any computer issues arise.
