I will only ever see her and recommend her to anyone that will listen. She's truly an artist in her element and those people are hard to find. The whole booking process was seamless, I was…read moreable to get a thorough hair trial a few weeks before the wedding day, and Lauren was flexible on my wedding day moving around appointments so she could travel and do my hair in time (I was a solo appointment- I didn't have a full bridal party). My hair is super thick and can be unruly in the heat, and of course it ended up being 90+ degrees on my wedding day but she managed to pin it perfectly and spray enough to hold it. But, I wanted to say thank you to Meg and First Look Salon for a wonderful experience! Her and the other stylist not only got myself, my mother, and 5 bridesmaids hair and makeup ready in record time, but we had so much fun hanging out at the cute salon and enjoying the bubbles she provided all morning. It was so lovely to have somewhere to relax and not worry about being in the middle of the event set up (or running into the groom!). I have a lot of hair, and requested a style that could be all-up, and then let half down for the reception. With some creativity and about 1,000 bobby pins she pulled it off, and it looked amazing. I also really like Aveda products, and I thought this salon was very reasonably priced compared to most other Aveda salons. Tia is super sweet and very good at what she does. I have very long hair with a natural wave, and she has given me layers that look great whether I wear my hair straight or curly. Would definitely recommend it to any of my friends!
