He did not sugar coat things nor imply to me that I was going to get my way on everything. He never caused additional conflict between either side in order to fatten his wallet. He is a Realist. If I didn't get something that I wanted, he explained why an issue was ruled the way it was by the Judge to help me understand. He helped me to keep my eyes on the much bigger and more important goals rather than the petty ones. Attorney Les Sandoval's goal is to give you your best long term outcome. If I had to describe his performance in a few words, it would be "classy and tactical". He knows when it is time to push...or when to stand down and wait for a better shot. He is wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove. He is a Christian Attorney that is rare of it's own merit. She always spent as much time as my father needed to explain her recommendations, and after his death she, and her associate Stephanie Woods, have been helpful and careful as we close out his estate. (Re: the one star review saying that Laurie Hedrich is no longer licensed to practice law in CA - Ms. Hedrich has lived in Albuquerque for decades. I looked up her status, and the database says that she is no longer allowed to practice law in CA because she declined to renew her license after 30 years of paying dues and no misconduct of any sort. I think people are allowed to let their licenses lapse if they no longer need them!)

Professional Malfeasance in Action! He will take your case…read moreand your money and take as little action as possible. He is initially responsive until the real work starts. Then he hides behind his sister. When motions need to be submitted to the court or decisions objected to or appealed, he refuses with little or no reasoning other than "it will upset the judge." He will work with opposing counsel and sign on your behalf without discussing it with you and make decisions not in your best interest - to not upset the judge. When you try to establish expectations that he will: start responding to emails and calls, not sign court documents without your knowledge, submit motions you request, and object to orders or decisions that are not in your best interest, he quits! (he informed the court 12 days before trial and us 2 business days before). it is tantamount to theft! He will take your money, represent you poorly, and quit if you hold him accountable to actually BE an attorney.
