0 stars Got us right in for 2 pedicures with no appointment but I can see why now! The place is filthy dust everywhere the floor looks like it hasn't ever been swept the side tables were covered in debris of some kind. The service was not good and my toes look awful.

They're always really sweet and my nails looked great :-) always my favorite place to stop by when I'm needing my nails done. Walked in and was immediately seated. Service took around an hour for a manicure and pedicure

Bad experience with Jay, metal drummel was used aggressively on my natural nails to the point where it is very thin and painful. I let him know I was scared and he kept going. He cut me twice without providing alcohol, so I used my own hand sanitizer to cleanse the area. Do NOT recommend going there.

Right hand post Dip removal with peeling and yellowing ring finger

While visiting Iowa for a wedding, I came to Merry Nails with the Bride and mothers. I had a so-so experience, and didn't write a review at first. But after having the "Dip" removed last night, I felt I should share my thoughts and warn others not to get the "Dip". When we arrived to Merry Nails, we all signed in (had previously scheduled appointments), and were asked what services we wanted. I had made the appointment for shellac, and stated that I wanted that, but they really push the "Dip" (what other salons may call NexGen). After being told that the Dip would last longer than shellac, and be less harmful on my nails, I agreed to try it. That's the biggest mistake I've ever made at a nail salon. To start, I came with clean, unpolished nails. They immediately started the Dip process, instead of trimming my cuticles, buffing, ect. (I've never had a manicure where they skip that step). When the process was complete my nails felt so odd and thick - almost like having fake nails. I also felt the color was much lighter than on the sample I chose. Only a week and a half after the "dip", the top part started peeling up. It got to the point every time I washed my hair or ran my fingers through my hair, my hair would get stuck between the polish and my nail. Then, three days ago (15 days post "Dip"), two of the "dips" broke off from the top half of my nail. Thankfully, I was able to get an appointment (at home in CT) to have the Dip removed last night. My salon at home soaked, and soaked, and soaked, and really struggled to get the dip off completely - it took over 30 minutes to remove. After getting down to my nails, I saw that two were YELLOW, and 7 of my 10 nails are peeling, weak and brittle! I have never in my life had yellow or peeling nails! I was advised to not use any type of polish on my nails for the next month to get them to "heal". My typical shellac lasts 3 weeks without a chip (I've had it last 4 weeks once). This Dip lasted less than 2 weeks and my nails are now ruined. I should have trusted my gut. If you come here, just get regular polish or shellac! Also, as a suggestion, I've been to other salons that offer champagne for the bridal party, or a bridal sash and take photos and such - just a nice touch for someone getting ready for their wedding.

I think I had the best one, Teresa. She really made an attempt to build rapport with me and get me back.. and it worked. I'm completely won over by this place. I was a little disappointed with my nail color (it looked more blue in the guide and came out more white/gray... so she chose for my toes and I love it!) -- she gave me an amazing massage while receiving the pedi.. and even though they were swamped I was in and out of there probably within an hour. They really have an efficiency about them and they all work together to keep clients moving. Reasonably priced with exceptional customer care. The vibe is so friendly and welcoming.. also clean. I will definitely return, and if you're wondering where to go... just GO!

Paid $100 and can't wait to cover it up…read more First time in. First pedicure in years. Kinda new to CR. Read a few reviews and felt semi-positive to try it out. Upon entering they were quick to greet me and give me a time frame for the wait. After my short wait, they ushered me to the pedicure bowls. The nail tech gives me binders of colors to choose from. I looked through them while they prepped. I pointed to which pedicure I wanted and which color, specifically stating I ONLY want the tips done like a French just a different color. They asked me if I wanted gel or regular. I said gel, and they got the menu out and pointed that it would be an additional $20. I told them that was fine. They said ok and took the little binders. I tried to chat throughout the pedicure but they were less than interested, or just didn't understand me due to a language barrier. The pedicure itself was fabulous. The massage, great. I was able to relax for a few minutes and closed my eyes for a bit. I opened my eyes and looked down, 4 toes in, and they painted the whole toenails. I didn't want to stop them since they were half done. A nice woman sat next to me and made a comment about the color I chose, which further made me anxious about the way they were painted. I guess I'll keep these toes covered until I can find somewhere else. I'd go back if the nail techs understood my first language, just so we could be clear on what I wanted since it wasn't a very hard ask. This would have been a 5 star rating had the toes been polished the way I asked; other than that, it was good.

LV Nails & Spa - Nothing there my own nail, no polish over it and very uneven. I would have made them do it over but leaving on plane.

Beautiful location, experience workers, great amenities and comparable prices. They take appointments and have enough space (and workers) to accommodate an influx of people! I personally love Quynh, she's done my dip nails a few times now, she's quick but precise, gives great input on colors and suggested services. And my nails always Wloo top notchToday I got a Milk and Honey pedicure (worth the extra $10) and I had the dip done in my nails. Pedicure was clean, quick but not rushed and concise. They have a HUGE color selection (3 racks of regular polish, 3 spin things of dip and a bunch of shellac as well) they even have matching sets of regular polish for your toes and shellac/dip for your finger. Love that! I'll be back again and again. They also have loyalty punch cards do get yourself one of those! ;)

I wanted to keep wearing my nails long since they were still strong, so I figured I'd try a dip manicure thinking the acrylic would support my nails despite the tear. I've been told my nails are naturally pretty thick, which would explain why in the past I thought regular acrylic sets looked so clunky on my hands. I came to my appointment hoping a better quality salon and several years of nail technology would lean in my favor for a better experience... in reality? Meh. I've now had three dip manis from three different nail techs at LV and none of them seemed worth the price and hassle. After an hour and roughly $70, I walked away each time feeling less than pampered as if they didn't really care what my nails looked like at all - particularly the last set where there were visible bubbles and bumps. I literally had to file my own nails when I got home because there were pointy globs of acrylic and the tips of my nails were rough and snagging. It doesn't make a difference to try to advocate for what you're looking for as far as shape, length, or general concerns. During the second visit, I once again alerted the tech about my broken nails and she was so rough on my hands that she broke one of the nails all the way off and left it completely jagged under the fake tip. I got stuck in this cycle because I had some photo-heavy events and wanted to try to have presentable nails. I was planning to go one last time just so they could remove this set and clean up my natural nails so I can do them myself, but I think I'd rather try somewhere else. Ultimately, this is why I really don't bother with nail shops and will be getting my own kit for the rare occasion I need a dip mani over regular polish.
