Shockingly enough I already had a vision in my head how the visit was going to turn out and I was exactly right lol! However the person that he wanted to speak to was supposedly " In a meeting " she walked right passed us it must've been a quick meeting that she asked the little guy to come out and get his ear torn off by my boyfriend but I give the guy credit he took one for the team was nice, smiled , listened and sent us on our way only to probably run out of the office at 5pm to hit happy hour from his very trying day working for the city of Mesa AZ. read more

City of Mesa is allowing flight schools to continue to open while knowing they are spewing TOXIC lead to everyone beneath their flight path. I have reached out to the Mayor, Councilmember GoForth, the FAA, the EPA, news outlets, surrounding elementary schools, as have many of my neighbors and everyone is ignoring this massive problem. Not only that, but we are being exposed to decibel levels 5x the legal limit. I was born and raised in Mesa. I've lived within 5-7 miles of Falcon Field my entire life. We built our home and moved here 2 years ago and it wasn't even this bad 2 years ago. They've allowed 5-7 new schools to open in 2 years, making it SEVENTEEN flight schools operating out of FFZ. It sounds like we live in a WAR ZONE. It starts as early as 4AM and doesn't end until 1AM. We have ZERO peace and quiet, there are no less than 20 of these loud, noisy, toxic lead spewing planes in the sky at once circling our neighborhoods over and over. It's not safe to allow these pilots to rein and get their flight hours above heavily populated communities and schools. The fact a different plane zooms by every 30 seconds is alarming and it's only a matter of time before another accident happens. We are being abused with this noise decibel level, poisoned by the toxic lead from the 110LL Avgas, and put at risk of them crashing every day all day long. At the recent Martin Luther King Jr Parade event on 01-20-25, a City of Mesa Special Events Supervisor, Tiffany K., came to my aid when I fell and lightly injured my hand and knee. She assessed my injuries and then radioed for Mesa EMT to assist with my minor first aid care. Tiffany brought over a folding chair and had me sit in the chair until I was released by Mesa EMT. Her swift attention and her reassurance that I was okay made me feel comfortable and cared for. Both Tiffany and Mesa EMT's genuine attention allowed me to bounce back and participate in the parade and enjoy the parade as if nothing happened that morning! On December 2024 somebody dump their cats in my mobile' shed. The mother cat and four kittens. I have been trying to contact all the rescues or anybody that could help. I found out the city of Mesa just got a new trap Noodle and release program so I called them and this lady named Shannon told me that I need permission from the mobile home park owners to get into the program. I talked to Mar management and told them what was going on and that I wanted to have these cats fixed before they reproduce of course. So they send me a letter stating that I have permission to do this. Half an hour later mar management call me and said that I cannot do that. Somehow Shannon call them and make them change their mind I don't know what she said to them. Mar management also told me that now I'm going to have to pay for the cats leaving here . So why does the animal control person that runs this program Shannon did this!?? Animal control isn't supposed to help straight animals? Well the cats are here outside and they're going to reproduce because I really cannot pay for pet fees for animals that I do not own. There are so many wrong things with the Mesa Police and the Mesa Fire and Medical. All the staff gain up on you and don't care about you. I was singled out and hopelessly abused out of greed to make money off of me. Mesa Police, the Mesa Fire and Medical called 911 without my permission, I never wanted/needed to go to Banner Desert. I told the Mesa public officials I need Food and Water. The Mesa Marathon had no food during the race. Every runner knows that food and water are better nutrients than a stupid IV. Solid waste department has decided to save some money and start replacing the black, blue and green barrels with significantly lighter weight barrels that have lids that no longer close when they are emptied. However, the bigger problem is the wheels fall off. I have had the black barrel replaced three times in a row for that reason. There doesn't appear to be any explanation when asked why these barrels are so junky. They also only replace these barrels on Mondays in my area and trash pickup is on Wednesday. So that means I have to figure out what to do with my trash for 5 days because they won't take the barrels if they have anything in them. I am told by the operator that answers for City of Mesa solid waste department that that's just how it is now. The barrels coming in her much cheaper, lighter weight and she gets numerous complaints about that very issue. Seeing how my tax dollars go to the city for these services, they should be doing a better job instead of trying to scrimp on a product that is so necessary. read more

I just got off the phone with City of Mesa Water department. I was trying to get information on how to change the name on the account, because my mother was the account owner and she passed away. I was trying to explain why the bill wasn't paid because her bank account was closed and it was on autopay. The customer service person was so rude and kept telling me in a loud voice that the account payment bounced back and we needed to pay the amount or water would be turned off. I kept trying to explain that is what I was trying to do - get information to put the account in my brother's name because he lives there. She kept talking over me loud. Where is the compassion and understanding that customer service should have. When my mother passed away the last thing I was thinking about was the water bill. City of mesa government? more like city of mesa cartel! I am in the unfortunate position of owning a rental property in the city of mesa. Apparently, the city notified the tenants to take care of the weeds on the property, maybe they did maybe they did not I don't know because the city never notified me nor the property manager of any issues although they had my address on file as well as my phone number. Fast forward 1 year, the tenants have moved out and we have a new tenant in place. The city of mesa slaps a civil citation on the property door as well as at my personal residence (which is not in mesa). The civil citation states you are COMMANDED to pay a $500 fine for blight and failure to remove weeds from the landscape? I legit though this was a scam, I called the code compliance officer and was greeted by an extremely unpleasant individual by the name of Jennifer pittmann. I was confused as to why this $500 fine was posted to my door, after all, this was the first time I had received any notice of this issue. She lectured me and stated that several notices were left... I tried to inform her that those tenants to whom the notices were being left had moved and they never let anyone know of any notices. She claimed they sent a process server to my personal residence 7 times (ok whatever). If that's true this person never left any indication that they had stopped by and *gasp* I work for a living, I don't sit at home waiting to answer the door for process servers or solar salesman. I tried to ask another question and Jennifer stated you have to pay this fine or take it to court... wow ok, I was confused and trying to figure out a way to resolve/prevent a problem... guess I gotta go to a "hearing" to do that, guess that's what I'll do. Hearing... what a joke, this was no hearing, the judge/pimp hand of the city allowed the city to present evidence against me, and confirmed that I had to pay the fine... The evidence I submitted was ignored, I was not allowed to present my side of the story; when I tried the judge interrupted me and stated that I had to pay the fine. The call was disconnected after the judge issued the threat "if you do not pay the fine a lien will be placed on your property and you will be taken to collections. I came down here to set up an account for water and sewer in our new home. They wanted me to come downtown and pay a deposit of $210.00. I thought that was a little over the top. When I arrived the office is set up like a bank with multiple windows. There was only one person at one window so I got a served right away. The woman at the window was very pleasant and got my account set up in minutes. After taking my deposit she reassured me that I would get that deposit back when I end service. I think the customer service is great, but the deposit fee is outrageous. It should be half of that at most. read more

Terrible service for Business owners for the state of Arizona!! They are not issuing the Re new TPT license for 2020 until January 2nd. Even if the renewal was paid with ample time. They havent even mailed them. This causes disruption to business owners and puts a halt To businesses paying Licenses and taxes. City of Mesa utility company is a nightmare. I cut and pasted my account information to pay my bill as I have for the last several months with no problem, but this month two digits got mysteriously transposed, causing the payment to be returned. Now I'm not allowed to pay with a bank draft. I can pay with a credit card so they can extort more money from me in the form of a 'fee'. I had been on sure pay that I stopped almost a year ago because they charged me double for 9 months and kept my over payment. It's illegal to have monopolies but that's what this is. I feel so sorry for all the employees that work here because of all the bad karma they are sowing. I've lived in Mesa for several decades and it used to be a good place but for the last year we've had neighbors with barnyard animals in their backyard... in a suburban neighborhood where the homes are very close together. Many of us have complained to animal control, we've called the police, we've complained to our city councilman, we've complained to the mayor and yet they do nothing. They have roosters that crow at 2:00 in the morning and wake us all up. They crow all day long while we're working from home and want to have our windows open. For whatever reason the city doesn't care at all and continues to allow them to have these animals that are clearly against the city codes all the while disturbing neighbors within a couple of blocks of this house. I just called the city of Mesa animal control about a dog that is left on the patio late hours of the night and we hours of the morning crying. I said it's cruel to leave your dog out when it's cold and the guy made every excuse as to why they can't do anything I said what about the dog have water to live.... Over-Kill for radar ticket, from City of Mesa. *My credit has been ruined, now it showed i owe City of Mesa over $300. *This year my tax return has been deducted $75 already, assuming they'll do it every year until the balance is done. *My husband's driver licence was suspended because they miss-match the name on the ticket.This part has been corrected but only after many moon of suffering. It started from one day i got a letter from City of Mesa. A radar trap ticket showed I drove 46 miles in school zone 3 months before. Try ague about something happened 3 months ago when you don't even know where and what. Our sewer line was broken after contractors dug a 7 ft. Trench in front of our sidewalk. City employees just left our house after working at least 5 or 6 hrs. Over the Memorial Day wkend.
