If I could give a zero I would. In July of 2024 they found my deceased son behind a strip mall. My daughter arrived at the scene and asked to take his suitcase and belongings, he was just released from a recovery program two days before. They refused her request stating they would take them to evidence. Three weeks later I called evidence to see when things would be released, they denied having his things at all. I called Mesa Police and was told they didn't know where his things were, nothing was brought in from the scene. Weeks later I was told they apologized but they left his stuff at the scene by mistake. In his things were every last things he owned, jewelry, clothes, medications, his Bible, his photos and a black sachel full of psych medications, suboxone, and prescribed substance, that they said they left at the scene. The medical examiners office took photos of all of those things including the medications, but the Mesa Police denied seeing the sachel of meds. I requested the report 3 times after they closed his case to accidental fentanyl poisoning, it was never sent to me. I made a formal complaint to Internal Affairs, they took four weeks and wrote me saying only, "their officers acted accordingly", they closed the investigation. To them my son was a waste of time, he was an addict, another body to collect, more paperwork. Why ? Because it was not one of their children. Shame on all of you that overlooked the last memories we would have had of my son, shame on you for not investigating the cameras at the store that viewd who gave him the drugs and shame on you for the devastating treatment we recieved.

I placed a call to the police because my neighbor rear ended my car in front of my condo. A young female and male officer came to my door and as I showed how my neighbor parked, I was accused of backing into him. They also claimed with all the investigative research they conducted (about the same respect they showed me) that the damage was not caused by his vehicle. They went next door and I overheard the officers explaining to him that this was not considered a criminal hit and run. They must have given him their business cards because I received a text from the neighbor telling me not to contact him further. When I responded to the text, the officers came back to my door and told me that if I didn't leave him alone that I could be written up for misdemeanor harassment. These are the facts. The neighbor decided I infringed in his parking area, damaged my car and I'm the bad guy?

He was blocked in by undercover officers who asked him to walk to towards them and then he was handcuffed, following that they began a search on his truck and dismantled his truck and even had a dog search it. All of this was done on the basis that someone had just been arrested and gave out a description that fit my dads truck. He was let go but he was detained there for about 2 hours all for it to not be him and of course they found nothing. Then a female officer said "we and the dog didn't find anything, we hope to not detain you like this again" As if my dad was this big drug lord, when he's just a landscaper who was just getting off the phone with my to go heat up his lunch, he has diabetes and after the whole situation his blood pressure and blood sugar were high. This behavior just seems odd and uncalled for. Then we went to the Police station the lady was very quick to try and dismiss me with the usual "I dont know everything" before even letting me explain the situation or express my questions... i even started with "I dont know who to go to, so im hoping you can direct me to the right person" She gave me so much uncalled attitude and was no help.

That's minuscule! The MAJOR issue, was "law enforcement" not knowing the LAW. Then the other officer telling her. 'You can't film inside of a store, that's where their rights end'..... so the question is. Y'all are recruiting officers, and putting them on the street to enforce laws they don't even know. Then a sergeant is called, and he thinks making someone uncomfortable is a crime... he should've gotten out, heard the statement, went to the ladies and said, "what they're doing is writhing their constitutional right" and walked off instead of in so many words telling the guy he's weird. Police chief also said, 'they're human and make mistakes' police can't make mistakes, when police make "mistakes" people die, people get hurt, not to mention, people can get wrongfully convicted. I follow things like this because I was lied on by the police in norfolk, Va. never was in trouble before that, but that taught me that no matter how well you do in life, police will harass you and trump up bogus charges just cause, so I have a distain for police in general, they violate our constitutional rights everyday, but we're suppose to follow the law. Fuck that. We need more auditors to show how much of a joke policing is

The first incident is with the police reports, where Kale Kauppi and another officer make conflicting statements. One officer claims that they answered the call on 12/03/2017, their partner claims that they answered the call on 12/04/2017. One officer states that my husband's car was in the parking lot when they ran the plates belonging to him, yet another officer stated that he was driving a car, that on 12/03/2017 he would not have in his possession for almost another year. Officer Kale Kauppi claims that a motel folio with my husband's Id tied him to the motel room for the date and time. However, evidence was also obtained that proved that claim to be false. First, a receipt that my husband had, put him checking out of the room on 12/01/2017. My husband's Google maps showed that he left the motel on 12/01/2017. Third, my husband has medical records that show that on 12/03/2017, he was checked into an inpatient facility in Prescott. The copy of his driver's license provided with the motel 6 folio is also missing the word VETERAN printed under the issue date and small photograph. Because his genuine driver's license indicated that he is a Veteran and the copy provided by the Tempe police did not, that proves that the copy of his driver's license was falsified. Also, when my husband was questioned by detective Blake Dunn, first and foremost, my husband has a TBI. A symptom of his TBI is prosopagnosia where he has difficulty identifying his own wife, mother, sister, and even himself in photographs. When detective Dunn questioned him, he genuinely did not recognize the woman in the photograph that Detective Dunn provided. Detective Dunn also falsified his report, deliberately stating that my husband only asked for an attorney after he denied knowing the woman. That is not true at all, as was shown from the footage of Detective Dunn's bodycam. My husband made a request for an attorney immediately after his rights were read. Detective Dunn also continued to engage my husband in questioning after he made the request for council. Tempe Police Department went out of their way to falsify reports and evidence in my husband's case. The evidence when all put together, shows that the accuser had a consentual one night stand with Bryant Toscano , then went home and got into a fight with her boyfriend, then took an Uber back to the motel and reported that she had been assaulted the next day after my husband had already been gone from the motel. I submitted this complaint to internal affairs as well as a complaint that Tempe PD is not in compliance with the Brady list! This is one of MANY complaints that have been or are being submitted in regard to the misconduct involved in this case! A long with a complaint submitted to IG and internal affairs against Tempe PD; are stacks of complaints against the racist prosecutor with half a brain cell, Kaleigh Jenkins, to the professional standards bureau and to the Arizona State Bar. After looking through and comparing every case that she's ever handled, my research proved that she is discriminatory against Hispanic defendants and as such uses that discrimination blatantly in the administration of justice. Why else would cases of the exact same scenario against white defendants be dismissed voluntarily when the accuser's story changes, but when she handles cases against Hispanic defendants, not only will she refuse to voluntarily dismiss cases, but she'll fail to disclose conflicting evidence to grand a grand jury, she'll fight to push it through trial even though she admits that there's reasonable doubt. She also recommends sentences that are much more harsh against Hispanic Defendants, such as 5 years in prison for shoplifting, but shows leniency for Caucasian defendants. Proof of her discriminatory views can also be seen on her husband, Nolan's, social media posts, such as the meme about their family dressing up as immigrants for free trips to Martha's vineyard. I'm never going to quit! Kaleigh Jenkins is more of a danger to the public and to society than the worst criminal that's been through Maricopa County's jails and prisons.
