Because of her, I learned the proper name for Spanish rice. It was very reasonably priced, too. The large rice was only $8!! My husband and I ate that for two days, lol. They had many vietnamese items, compared to my Asian stores nearby. The seafood and meat section was good size and organized. I only got a glimpse of the vegetable and fruits section, but it seems ok for quick runs when you forgot something. The cashier was nice and caring. One of our food boxes fell inside the bag, and he straightened it out. That was such a small gesture, but it showed how much he really cared for his customers! I will be returning for their food. The fried chicken was so good and the rice alone too!

Their barn items are insanely cheap for fresh bakery goods in this economy, and their fruit picking prices are fair. I haven't ever had a bad experience with service, and the ambiance is all wooden, cool, and overall just a great experience. It's literally THE place to go for a family trip or something fun to do.

It's definitely goes beyond a regular "pumpkin patch" and has things to see and do or taste for all members of the family. People of all ages find joy in apple picking, fighting the honeybees, playing with goats, and riding in a wagon. Older adults can enjoy photo worthy moments in the sunflower fields too! Lord knows my zucchinis don't even have flowers, so being able to pick up a few locally grown ones is awesome. They just had one counter of veggies around midday, but the barn they are using for a store is gigantic, and there were empty baskets stacked in one area and empty tables in another, so I assume it must fill up. The farm is gorgeous. There are beautiful rectangles of growing stuff everywhere. The people are friendly and they take credit cards, so that's super helpful, since I rarely have cash. I got some nice tomatoes and cucumbers (the latter better than the former, but it is really early and some of those earlier tomatoes are less flavorful, so I'm sure they'll get better), some zucchini and summer squash and green beans. Looking forward to my dinners this week with all those fresh veggies! They also had nice looking peppers (which we don't eat in this house due to a borderline allergy), and some potatoes, as well as some fruits. I was mainly after veggies, though. I understand they had lettuce somewhere, perhaps in the Coca Cola-style fridge I didn't check out, but from what I saw on the website, it was only romaine and iceberg. My favorite lettuce is Black Seeded Simpson, but the other "butter lettuces" in that family are good too. I dislike iceberg and am neutral on romaine. I'll be back! This place is not far and it's also near Shaw Farm, where I like to buy milk, so it makes for a nice trip. Lots of good food to be had!
