Wild Boars that often roam the park. There are 8 to 10 and they are now bigger than the ones in this picture.

The park itself is nice, but be forewarned that there is often a herd of about 8 or ten WILD BOARS roaming the park. Normally you can walk past them without incident, but I would be careful bringing children without careful supervision. Wild boars have tusks and can be very protective of their young.

It's disappointing to leave a lackluster review for yet another San Jose neighborhood park, but it needs to be done. On par with several other parks I once again found myself trying to remove or cover up garbage so my toddler didn't grab hold and try to chew it. Heck I don't want her to even touch the garbage! I did what I could, but it's getting ridiculous. Another thing we noticed was the placement of the green ride on plane. It was facing a different direction since the last time we were there... well, come to find out one of the big ol' springs is totally broken! Not only is that an embarrassment for the city, but it's dangerous for a playground designed for young children. As I've said previously regarding other parks, our city leaders need to allocate money in the budget to keep the neighborhood parks clean and in working condition.

I love going to this park. There's a dirt path and the stevens creek paved path. Now that we have a toddler who prefers to run, we stay on the dirt path because some bikes are too fast and to practice socially distancing. There's a lake here and you can fish with a permit. We've seen boats here and I'm assuming you can boat launch. There's a park and restrooms but could be closed due to covid. We love this hidden park and enjoy the beauty of it. You'll see ducks in the lake and sometimes some horses like we did when we went! We were also surprised we saw a rabbit 4 stars because of the bikes going fast. Some Bikers are friendly and some aren't where they zoom by without warning. It can be less pleasurable going here with toddlers for that reason.

Great fenced in area for pups to play

Love this place ! Great fenced place for the dogs to run. The downside is that it is filled with pot heads and some unsavory characters roaming around. The bathrooms are near the play yard and not ideal for moms with kids needing to use the restrooms as that is where there is a lot of activity. Feel safe coming with a family member with dogs but, honestly won't come alone. We come during the daylight hours, would not be comfortable here at night. Fenced yard is about 3 football fields long and great to have pups socialize as there are a lot of regulars. Wish the police patrolled here more though so it would be more family friendly.

Very nice playground area for my toddler. Because Of Covid 19 we don't want her to be near a lot of people, during peak hours it does get full but sometimes it's empty. So it's always a gamble. Walking trail is nice and clean, park is located near a residential area. Only complaint is that the play structures are very dirty.

    Nice and shady playground.

Great neighborhood park for young kids. Next to a dog park and walking path. Felt safe. A Zumba class was going on and people biking around.

As a newbie to CA and thwarted in discovering parks due to Covid, I happened upon this park while in the area.

What kind of park has a zipline?!? THIS ONE. Two seating options, one with a harness for toddlers,…read morethe other for older kids (I even saw adults using this). The park also offers a fun and inclusive space for children, with climbing structures, sturdy cement slides, swings for both toddlers and older youth, a see-saw, merry-go-round, trampoline, and spongy material making up the ground's surface. The occasional squirrel, lizard, and butterfly too. As an adult simply looking for a place to relax while waiting for my car at an auto shop nearby, I was pleasantly surprised to find this park accommodating. Dirt and concrete trails weaving through the garden, lovely vegetation in spring, and a good amount of picnic tables and benches scattered throughout. Also, a shady area with fake grass and seats made out of smoothed-out logs and tree trunks, as well as adirondack chairs where I was able to hang out and nap while I was there. It wasn't too crowded or crazy on a Friday morning, though it got busier as it neared noon time. In addition, the place offers a parking lot and clean restrooms for convenience.

Visited Rotary Play Garden for the first time over MLK holiday, and it was packed! It makes me…read morewonder if it is usually this busy or if it's because of the holiday weekend. The play garden has everything kiddos love -- slides, one seesaw, one round spinner, one rope climbing thing (that can also spin), swings (bucket and standard), small water play area, and a Zipline (one for little kids 3+ and one for older kids). They also have an area with tables, where someone was having a party (no idea if reservations are needed though). Expect to wait in line for a turn of the park is crowded. The play garden is fenced off from the rest of the park. They have a restroom on site. They have a small parking lot that is nearby the entrance of the play garden. I noticed some people parked on a smaller side street and walked over. I'm not sure what other parking options there are otherwise. We would return if we're in the area again and if it's less busy. It's a solid park and play area for those who live nearby.
