They've even sent me cracked eggs, so obviously they were never checked or broken during delivery. One way or another much better care should be taken. I keep saying I'm going to change grocery stores. I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this store and I it's as though they DON'T CARE. While I was checking avocados on the display case, I noticed that almost all of them in bags were rotten. I then approached a produce clerk and advised him that all those rotten avocados must be removed off the display case. He agreed to do it but did not take any action. I reminded him again. However, it appears that his supervisor or someone at the back room advised him not to do so. I then asked to speak with a manager and had the rotten bags of avocados removed. The rot was noticeable and it should not have to come to customers concerns to have unwholesome food removed from being sold. I may have to reconsider shopping elsewhere if it ever happens again.

However, on a recent visit a male staff from Produce repeatedly reached over me and bumped into my scooter as he fawned over an ablebodied customer in line. He acted as if I were an object. No "Excuse me," nothing. When I spoke up, he mansplained how he has the right to do this and, "I'm sorry YOU feel THAT way." I told him he was physically hurting me, besides being rude. He continued to abuse me. The Human Rights Tribunal confirmed I have grounds for a disability discrimination case. An assistive device is legally part of a disabled person's body. What this employee did was assault. As well, the payment terminals have been moved so they are too high for disabled people to reach from wheelchairs. Thanks, but I can pay more reasonable prices for organics at regular grocery stores, and get treated as if I am human. As I said, I went to WF mainly for customer service. Not to have my human rights violated.
