I recommend that no one go to Methodist Dental. On my first visit as a new client, I was told that I needed a higher level cleaning because I have some crowding in my lower teeth which have extreme plaque build up (extra $80 over what my insurance pays), that I have what MAY be the start of a cavity (another $160), and that I should fix an area near my molar that MAY start to have food trapped in it some day ($250). I take exceptional care of my teeth and have been complimented at every cleaning for the last 20 years, so I knew I did not have extreme plaque build-up and I have also never had a cavity nor issues with food trapped by my molar. After by ex-rays and having the consultation with the dentist, I was pressured into all the services listed above and decided to leave the office and go to a different dentist. The new dentist indicated that I had no issues with my teeth including no start of any cavities and complimented me on how clean my teeth were! I asked about the crowding in the lower teeth and the new dentist replied that she wished all her client's teeth could be as plaque-free as mine are even in the crowding. When I requested my X-Rays to take to this different dental office, I was told I would have to pay a fee of $25 and wait a week. This is not in compliance with the contract that this office has with my dental insurance which states that I can have the records for free. After bringing this up to the person who answered the phone, she went to get the office manager but the line was disconnected on me. I called back and did speak to the office manager who was extremely rude. She would not give me any contact information for her supervisor or the corporate office for Methodist Dental and eventually hung up on me I contacted my insurance company who then called the office manager to remind her that, by the contract, I should not have a fee for my records. The office manager still refused to give me my records. I believe that this dental office attempted to fraudulently provide unnecessary services and bilk money from me and my insurance company. This place attempted to get money from me any way possible. Buyer beware! read more

I visited Methodist Dental so far 2 times this year. I am writing because the service I received there was outstanding. Dr. Dini is the most caring dentist that I have met in all of my 65yrs. She is kind understanding and very concerned about your dental health and also your overall health she explains the procedures that she wants to perform and the reason why you need to do it or not. The other people in the office are just as helpful and caring as she is and my experience was awesome I hated going to the dentist but they have changed my mind. Thank you Doctor Dini and the staff at the Methodist Dental Clinic ! By the way my son also visited the dentist and he was another one who hates to go they gave him a return appointment and he returned! I was in sooooo much pain this morning and all the dental offices in the area were not accepting appointments or closing early due to Labor Day weekend . I was a walk in with no insurance and they got me RIGHT IN- Leti at the front desk made my process so smooth and seamless and did not turn me away or give me a hard time. Within about 15 minutes I was already having X-rays done/ another 20 minutes and the Dr was already evaluating the images and giving me a treatment plan. Another 30 minutes and I'm typing this NUMB as I wait for my deep cleaning to began. So glad I popped in, I'll definitely be testable long term relationship at this office and I appreciate the thoroughness of the entire experience! read more
