Later, the phone staff apparently called me about a specialist medical referral, although they did not leave a message. They had made an appointment for me without asking me. I called back after checking caller ID & finding out it was New Life. The woman on the phone was snarky, had an attitude, talked over the top of me. I asked her to please stop speaking inappropriately with me and she blew up. She raised her voice, and transferred the call without asking or saying anything - just slammed me on hold. Someone else picked up and did not apologize to me until I advised that I am also a healthcare professional and patients should not be treated that way. I then called the medical specialists' office to move the appointment that was made without me being asked. Their office told me that New Life provided the wrong name and wrong address for me. I saw some other bad reviews on-line for New Life and the responder, who characterized themselves as office manager, appeared to dismiss the concerns and dress down the patients who made them. Likely that explains why phone staff feel emboldened to raise their voice, behave inappropriately with patients, and not even bother to give correct contact information to referrals. It saddened me.
