I sent them two brand new batteries and an unused charger. They fixed the problem with arm and sent me back batteries and charger as pictured (completely corroded and half the charger broken). I called to question about what happened. Tim told me that they did nothing, never even touched charger so this all happened by magic. He also was very short with me and his attitude sucked. He must've skipped customer service training. I even have a recording of him saying the mower was brand new. So, now I have to call my lawyer for such trivial crap Tim could've owned up to their negligence. Instead he chose to be a dick and make me feel like he was doing me a favor by calling Greenworks. Would NEVER use this shop for ANYTHING.

What concerned me more, however, was the tone and manner in which I was treated during the call. Rather than being offered assistance or alternative options, I felt dismissed and that my interest as a customer was not valued. The person that took my call was the owner. She had just said how she wanted to attract some newer clientele at her sew Fair. I believe in supporting local businesses and would have appreciated a more helpful and welcoming approach--such as being invited to return and explore other options. Instead, the interaction left me feeling discouraged from returning. When Walmart and other stores offer so many other financing options one would think you would be appreciative of potential new clients. I know 2000 or 2500 isn't a lot to many but to me it was a big deal. I am a wife, a mother and a teacher and someone who did sales for over 10 years. A good customer is a returning customer. To add up until calling to acquire about the availably of my machine the customer service i received was amazing. The two men that helped me were extremely knowledgeable and a wealth of knowledge. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope it will be taken constructively. Every time I walk in they help me troubleshoot my issues (invariably user error or routine maintenance I've neglected) with grace, and often no charge at all. Their staff - to a person - is knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Pricing is fair. I've willingly paid a bit more for the occasional part bc it's worth it to keep shops like this in business. (Yeah, maybe I could get it from Amazon for a bit less, but Amazon sure isn't gonna help me find the part, much less TEACH me why my machine is jamming up and making me absolutely INSANE ...) They did an inspection and recommended a tuneup (which, it hadn't had for a few years). I took it home and the mower made it through most of a mowing before dying. The second mowing I only made it half way. I called them up, they told me about their 30-day guarantee, and I brought it back. Wayne took a look at it, said he'd do a proper cleaning out of the carburetor and could have it ready for me the next day. He even tested it for 45 minutes to make sure it could go the full time and still mow some grass; that's going the extra mile for your customer! I have a lawn mower that doesn't owe me anything. Even when I have to send it to the farm upstate with all the other old mowers, I will bring my next lawn mower here for servicing because I know they will do a good job on it and will give me a good deal.
