If jewelry is removed by a mortuary when they receive a body, it should be saved for the deceased's loved ones and they should inform them. Also, there was a lot of pressure to hurry up and approve the death certificate. Does that mean they have limited refrigerated? Maybe. The sheriffs who discovered my brother's body at home during a wellness check did not have an autopsy nor any medical exam because "there appeared to be no sign of foul play." My brother hadn't seen the doctor who signed the death certificate in three years.

A friend referred us here (please note our friend dealt with entirely different staff than we did) so we called for pricing and availability. We were quoted an all in price of $1250 plus per copy cost of certified death certificates. They asked multiple questions about the deceased (age, height, weight, where she was, etc) and agreed they could take care of us within the hour About an hour later an apprentice showed up at our door. It was just her, no one else and it was obvious to us there would be no way she could move my wife alone. I had this discussion with her and she agreed. I would like to note here that the apprentice was extremely professional and kind throughout the entire process. She looked professional in her attire and was very respectful at all times She contacted her office and the funeral director said there was no one else available to help. I asked her to call again as we needed this process to go smoothly. She called again and one of the funeral directors said she would come out to help. About another hour later the funeral director showed up looking like she had been working in the yard all day her hair and clothing were a mess and she was sweating profusely. She never spoke to me or the hospice nurse that was present but started complaining to the apprentice about the situation. She did not bring any kind of straps or assistance items to complete this process. She snapped at her co worker and the hospice nurse telling them what they were to do. The hospice nurse should have never been involved as that was not her job and not what she was there for. Due to the structure and age of the home the cot that was brought in would not fit into the bedroom. The funeral director decided they would put my wife on a board and carry her down the hall. I suggested that would not work but she insisted. She took the sheet my wife was laying on and started to wrap it around her and quickly stopped saying "she's too fat this will never work". The hospice nurse immediately took the sheets and wrapped my wife up as it should have been done. The funeral director said we are going to lift and carry her down the hall on this board. I once again said it won't work. It was done anyway. They got about 6 ft and dropped my wife off of the board hitting the wood floor below. I want to inject here that it was exactly one month before that my wife fell on the hardwood floor and started the process of her death. The funeral director simply walked out of the house without saying a word The apprentice was crying and apologizing over and over. And the hospice nurse was on the floor with my wife trying to comfort us all. The nurse then suggested that they use the sheets and simply slide the body down the hall then pick her up when they get to the cot. I never saw the funeral director again that day. No apologies, nothing. She then called me later to talk about money and payment. Never mentioned what happened. No apology. I even asked her for an apology twice over the phone and got nothing. She said "what do you want from me?" I replied "an apology " and she said "I did the best with what you gave me I have nothing to apologize for". I'm still in shock over what took place that day. Unprofessional, disrespectful, rude and disregard for the human body much less their family. I did pick up the ashes the next week and it felt like I was picking up a to go order at a restaurant. She was more proud that she wrote my wife's name with a Sharpie on the plastic container than anything else. Luckily the apprentice was there and apologized for what had happened previously. The funeral director gave me a $200 credit which she said was for the additional person charge. I ended up paying over $1500 for a $1250 quote and a service that was sub standard and emotionally unbearable at such a difficult time. I can honestly say at this time I would not recommend this company at all. When a family is experiencing a death they should NEVER have to experience any of these things. She also continued to tell me that the owner was out of town and there was nothing she could do.

Do NOT trust them to come actually spray your yard…read more I've been home most times they've sprayed and witnessed some really good techs that made a huge difference for my yard. The last time their techs came out, I was home and watched them. They did not do most of my property. They left so quickly I actually thought they got called away for something and they were going to come back. I called the office and was told I just did not understand and their techs pinky promised they really really did spray the yard. I insisted that I watched them and they did not but the most they would do is tell me to call back in a few days for a respray if I still noticed problems. When I called back, I was told I missed the window by 2 days and they told me I would need to wait another week and a half for my next spray and they'd knock $20 off. Never mind that I cannot go outside right now without getting swarmed by mosquitos. I cancelled immediately and all they said was "sorry for the miscommunication" Outside might be fun again but only if you can be home to watch them and make sure they actually spray like they're charging you to do. Otherwise, you're going to be out to dry.
