I saw the vehicle tailgating, swerving, yelling out the window in traffic. It wasn't just bad driving; it was aggressive and rude. When you plaster your logo on a vehicle, you are representing your brand to everyone on the road. If this is how the owner treats their neighbors on the road, I have serious reservations about how they run their business behind closed doors. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I called Century link about it and got to talk to the robot who try's to sound like a person. It informed me it found a problem with their line and they would need to send someone out to fix it. The soonest appointment is a week from tomorrow. It conveniently scheduled the appointment for sometime between 8am and 5pm, Central Time, which is 2 hours ahead of where I live in the Pacific zone. The robot also said they will charge me $95 if I am not here when they show up. I've been through the same process at least three times in the last 12 months. I'll get a text telling me that their technician has arrived. No one ever actually shows up at the house. So I drive around and find their Century Link truck parked along the road, about a mile from my house. The technician tells me the problem is somewhere on the main road. I'll get a text later saying it's fixed. That means it will work slightly better for a couple months. Then, I will have to repeat the process, talk to the robot and sit at home for another day so they can not show up again.

One problem so far (telly only) - called in to 800 # and there was heavy call volume, recommended that I troubleshoot on the website. (Note: this is a favorite with these sites which only works when you can use the Internet (useless when the internet is the problem) or go online with your phone (nope, old school cheap cel for emergencies). - went online to Xfinity site, went to the Troubleshooting page, it took five minutes and I had my picture back on the telly. minus one star for bundling and two year packages, and the fact that ALL of these outfits seem to treat old customers like crap and new customers get the good deals. Frustrating; may cost them a customer in the future . . .
