The price estimate for the crown alone was $1200, no payment plan available. Since the root canal used up all my dental insurance I explained that I was going to go somewhere else more affordable for my crown, that is when the receptionist told me they could ~somehow~ drop the price down to $800, and then a payment plan was magically an option. Dr. Porter does some very good work which is why I'll give this place 3 stars, but the business kinda rubs me the wrong way and I am skeptical with how they run things with the new owners. I saw two dentists before I fortunately came across Dr. Porter, and he's been a lifesaver. I had a large hole in my tooth that neither of the other dentists could find, and by the time I saw Dr. Porter I needed a crown. Whenever I'd had fillings done by my former dentist, I continually had to go back to have my teeth filed down and I was always in pain. Dr. Porter has done wonderful work and I have never had problems following procedures. I've had such great care from him that I followed him from Midwest Dental in Hastings to Crestridge Dental in Burnsville. I wouldn't risk having shoddy work performed by dentists like the previous ones I saw and I'd highly recommend him and his staff, as I've never had a better dentist.

Please note that this five star review comes from someone who HATES going to the dentist. Location: Centerpointe Dental has two locations (Lakeville & Burnsville). The Lakeville location is easy to get to, near Target (I have a Target shopping problem...) and they have a private parking lot that makes it easy to drop off patients and park. Service: The staff is beyond friendly, skilled, knows what they're doing. The staff at Centerpoint truly does what's best for the patient and they put the patient(s) first. I was told by a dentist at a local clinic that I would need two veneers post root canal. I went for a second opinion with Dr. Krech; he was able to internally bleach my tooth and saw no need for one veneer, let alone two. He saved me time and money and I;m forever grateful for this. You can tell the staff are passionate about dental health and love what they do! This factor truly makes a difference in the level of care and again, putting the patient first over a possibly higher payout. Insurance: Centerpointe works with most major insurance companies. If you don't have insurance, they'll talk options with you to see what works best for you and your budget. My insurance doesn't cover internal teeth bleaching, so I called around to a few dental practices to get an idea on pricing and Centerpointe definitely had the better pricing out of three different practices.
