Kids don't exactly let you brush their teeth in the manner you're supposed to. My son is generally quite easygoing but in new situations you just never know, right? Anyway, I had nothing to worry about. This place is just fabulous and I'll recommend without hesitation to my friends. The entire experience was perfect; from check-in, to waiting, to cleaning etc and finally having the dentist (Dr Mark) inspect my son's mouth. They are patient, friendly, and kind, explaining each step and offering praise and encouragement. The kids get to pick from various flavors for the toothpaste and fluoride treatment which was fun for him. There's also, of course, a free toothbrush, floss and even a toy. My son literally said he wants to go there every day. Can't get better than that!

After seeing an…read moreemergency dentist, I learned that teeth that have had root canals can become more fragile over time and are often recommended to have crowns to help prevent fractures. I was told my tooth could have chipped much worse. This office didn't perform my original root canal, but I've been a patient here for several years for routine care. I was surprised that the need for crowns on these teeth was never mentioned or discussed during my visits. The staff has always been kind, but I wish there had been more proactive communication about protecting previously treated teeth so I could have avoided an unexpected emergency. Because of this experience, I've decided to continue my dental care elsewhere.

Absolutely nothing. I even proposed paying half of the bill to settle the issue. After paying the full amount, I immediately started looking for a new dentist. If you decide to try Dr. Klausen's office I'd advise asking plenty of questions to make sure they don't nickel and dime you with their fancy x-rays.

However, in less than two years the braces came off, and our daughter's smile was absolutely gorgeous! I expected that after braces her teeth would be better than before, but I didn't expect that her teeth would cause just about everyone she meets to comment on how beautiful they are. She is thrilled, and so are we. We also appreciated how convenient our appointments were. We could always get an appointment just before or after school, and we were in and out of the office in no time. Dr. Gau and her staff were wonderful, and truly we couldn't have been happier. I have friends that have taken their kids to the U. for their orthodontia, and paid less. Those friends continually say what a hassle it is, and how they need to take half a day off work and pull their kids out of school every time they have an appointment. My (now) husband recommended Mondale Dental earlier this year and it has been some of the best experiences at a dentists office I've had yet. Dr Brian has a great chair side manner and is great at what he does. He filled one of my cavities in May and put me at ease even though it was dangerously close to becoming a root canal. The hygienists have also been really great, cleaning teeth without leaving the person sore afterwards. They are friendly, professional, and calming.
