Browsing the GB makes you feel like you are shopping, RH or Pottery Barn. Also, I am a big fan of Olive and Cocoa, a mail order catalog. My most recent visit, I found several items from the catalog, in TGB and I'd rather buy local, then from a major catalog. This store is amazing, the staff is always eager to help. If you shop like me and don't need help, they are cool with that, too. I can spend my money, without any help. If you're decorating your home, or if you need a gift for mom, your BFF and the school teacher, I'm telling you to come here and shop. I challenge anyone to come here and try to leave without buying something. You'll always find an item you gotta have.

I love Nora Fleming and I'm always tempted to buy the newest items. I like that they have locally branded items. They'll offer locally themed tea towels with both. Alton and Godfrey printed on them. Another one of my favorite things to purchase here are; cocktail napkins and greeting cards. They've got some of the wittiest cards and the napkins make me laugh, too. They also have a fashion boutique for the ladies. A couple of my family members have bought items and have looked very stylish. On occasion, WB will have a few mens shirts and I've bought them and constantly get compliments, when I wear them. The service is very personalized and when you become a regular, they'll remember your name. This place has the little booths; one for each seller. The lady behind the counter is always friendly and makes you feel welcome. To me, it's mostly garage sell stuff, but it's a fun place to just look around if you have some time. You never know what you may find. The hours are Monday-Saturday 10:00 to 8:00 and Sunday 10 to 5. Books have always been a happy escape for me. Now that I read my books on my iPad, I had started to forget how wonderful it feels to hold a real book in your hands. I think it's time to return to the beginning, head back in time and pick up a book to read; a real solid paper book. Sometimes change isn't always a good thing. This sweet little store reminded me of days gone by. When you walk in, the room on the left is for the little ones. Straight ahead is the desk where you checkout and to the right is for young teens or young at heart. In the back areas are adult books. A very nice selection of most genres. So put down that iPad and go buy yourself a book! A book that you can touch. However you like your books, take time to read. Lose yourself for awhile and let your imagination carry you along.
