We've been disappointed by several podiatrists including Foot and Ankle Centers of GA and Emory…read more Most won't trim hardened, painful toenails unless the patient is diabetic and then it's no more than can be done at home. They don't bother to treat athlete's foot in the elderly. I knew Village Podiatry was different when I heard Marvin Gaye in the lobby. There's free parking and friendly staff. The service went from good to stellar when an electric nail filer was used for my loved ones extra thick toenails. Dr. Monday was the icing on the cake! How often can the all-time leading scorer in Augusta women's basketball "assist" your loved one? Dr. Monday is personable, caring and knowledgeable. Rather than saying seniors have to live with foot fungus or being prescribed lotions that don't work, she provided 3 options and gave the success rate, risks and benefits for each. We're already seeing results! Of course, no place is perfect. There's no lab so we had to go to Labcorp for bloodwork :(. And you can't reach the front desk without going through a call center. But it's worth it. Village Podiatry offers five-star service. Dr. Monday will be our family podiatrist for life, I highly recommend!

The doctor looked at my feet and walked off I guess because I was not from her country she did not have to talk. I had to go to the secretary and ask her what the doctor thought of my foot problem and ask what was prescribed. What was prescribed was not really useful my best bet was to go to the store and buy antifungal cream which is what I already did. Also, the secretary was acting like my questions relating to my health were affending her. " You mean no one want to be bothered with the patients". If You Are Over 30 do not go there, they think the older generation should keep their mouth closed and act like you don't know whats going on. Thats the African culture. By the way, the doctor only wants to serve people of "her" own kind, it is so obvious.

I have come to the conclusion that any positive feedback or reviews are written by the office…read morestaff, their family, and friends. I complained several times about the unprofessional treatment I have received from this office, you would think just to make me move along, they would give me my referrals and be done with me, but all they did was to very rudely cancel my appointment for today, less than twenty-four hours prior to my appointment, told me they are referring me to a pain management clinic, without giving me the name or number. I called back, because my appointment today was for diabetic foot care, not pain, I was told, no I couldn't come into today, I was being referred to another facility, but wasn't given the, name, address, or telephone number when I asked. When I explained why I wanted these pieces of information, due to how I was ignored, made to wait in the past, I was told, I could find my own pain specialist, when I asked would I need a referral, I was told, I probably would. It seems this office simply doesn't care what it's patients think, nor that they are more than willing to publicly complain about them. Please don't go to this podiatrist, it's not worth the aggravation of dealing with the unprofessional office staff. My next step is to complain to my insurance carrier.

Be sure to sound factual: Dispite the many complpaints of Not scheduling surgeries for months, ,Not calling patients back, Long wait times (2+ hours even with appointments), Rude, dismissive, arrogant behavior, Poor follow-up care, Billing issues, or Making conditions worse, I trusted Dr. Javan Bass, DMP with my own foot care aswell as the foot care of my 2 daughters. However Dr. Bass office is super unprofessional. He staff is unprofessional. He doesn't even care enough about his business to have an email address listed on his website. I've called over the last 60 days trying to schedule and appointment for my daughters Surgey after he recommended it. They never return calls. The receptionist who is responsible for scheduling the appointments never seems to know his schedule. throughtout the 60 days of waiting on a call back for an appointment date, I've reached to his office over 6 different times only to get to be told I would recieve a call the next day with an appointment date. My daughter's toe is getting so much worse. She is in constant pain and unable to participate in athletic and gym activities. Today, January ,8th 2026, I decided to drive to the doctors office to personally request a surgery date. The same receptionist that's been answering the phone over the corse of this 60 day wait again gave me a hard time and would not allow me to speak to the doctor nor give me an appointment date. before leaving, I noticed Dr. Bass leaving from a paitence room so I called out to him. Instead of listen to my concern, he responded as if I was a duranged lunatic informaing me the calling his name out as I did could get me sent away in a "Paddy Wagon". I was so hurt I just left. I have recorded proof of the entire insident and horrible treatment that I endured. And still no results or date for my child.

I was referred to this office for a second opinion following a foot surgery that was performed by…read moreanother doctor to cut the bone and implant pins to stabilize the joint. I have a shifted sesamoid bone that is under the ball of my foot post-surgery, and it is causing discomfort when walking and swelling. I had also fallen down the stairs at some point after the initial surgery which increased the pain that I had in that foot. I had a follow up surgery scheduled for the beginning of May, with the initial surgeon, to remove the pins that were implanted as well as the sesamoid, but after my first visit in this office a CT scan was recommended since they X-Rays were not conclusive. My appointment was on April 24th. I scheduled the CT scan for the very next day and made another appointment to have it read in this office on May 1st. I went in for the disc to be reviewed, but after sitting in an exam room for about 30 minutes, they came back in to tell me that I could not be seen that day. They did not have Java on any of their computers and could not review the images but told me that my co pay would be refunded and someone would reach out once they had it downloaded. I never received a call. I had to reach out to them multiple times about the status of my images, and in the time in between, I cancelled my surgery due to time constraints and waiting for a response or appointment to review the images. I was finally given a time to come back in on May 14th and was told that they were able to download the program and open the files, but only after I called them. No one ever contacted me. Once I got there, I was asked for a co-pay even though the first one hadn't ever been refunded. Not a big deal. They just applied it to the new visit. I go back into the exam room and the nurse has me take off my shoe and sock. Normal procedure, except, they then put a scrub type sock on my foot and had me walk barefoot on my injured foot to another room to look at the images. My foot had a fracture that occurred after the first surgery, and it is assumed that it happened when I fell down the stairs. They knew in advance, since they looked at the images before I arrived, that my foot was fractured, and I had told them at the prior visit that it was painful to walk on that foot without a shoe on. Maybe not the best practice to have someone walking around on their injured foot. I am taken back to the exam room, and they go over a plan which includes letting it heal for 6 weeks with another follow-up before surgery can be considered. A magnetic box is also recommended to promote new bone growth and expedite the healing time. I am told that someone will call me with the information for that device, and I am also instructed to not take any oral pain relievers since they will further slow the healing process. No topical medications were named or prescribed, but I was told to use a topical if needed. Some felt inserts were given to me to put in my shoe to relieve some of the pressure on the ball of my foot, and that was the end of the visit. On the 21st, I still had not received a call about the bone growth device and called the office. The calls go directly to a call center instead of the office locations. After giving her all of my information she asks which pharmacy I use and advises that there are no medications on file for me. I explain that it isn't for medication, and she puts me on hold to contact the office directly. She comes back on the line and says that no one could speak to her, but she is sending them a message high priority, and someone will call me back. On the 24th, I still have not received a phone call. I call back in to the call center and am told that the message has been read, and what else would I like for her to do about it. All she can do is send another message, but their office closed early and there is no one there. I am out of patience at this point and her attitude was not helping matters, so my 6-week follow-up appointment was cancelled right then and there. The doctor was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable, but the office staff and call center are abhorrent at best. Patients do not really seem like a priority, and if you are told that "someone will call you" for any reason, prepare to be clinically ghosted.
