Dr. Sinkoe is an incredibly kind, patient doctor. And I have less foot pain because of him. I suffered from plantar fasciitis for several years. Over the years, I have tried orthotics, shots and even surgery, but nothing has eliminated the pain altogether. The pain had begun inhibiting my normally active life. Dr. Sinkoe showed me how different stretching exercises for my leg can help alleviate or eliminate pain in my foot. The relief came almost overnight. And he educated me on the right type of shoe for my feet. Turns out, I was wearing the wrong gym shoes, which had been recommended by a prior doctor. Based on my one and, I hope, only interaction with Dr. Sinkoe and his staff, I recommend highly his services as a podiatrist. I'm a graduate student at Emory, and student health services referred me to him when I came in about metatarsal pain in my left foot. I received my referral at 8:30 am on Monday and was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sinkoe the following morning at 9 am. Great scheduling. Dr. Sinkoe's office is located in an executive park complex, with his door being "around the back" rather than along the front row of offices. The door isn't well-marked--it's the "center" door along the back row of offices. I was in and out in an hour, and that included new patient registration, being seen by an assistant and Dr. Sinkoe, and two sets of x-rays to clarify that I had only an infected blister and not a foreign object in my foot. Dr. Sinkoe did his training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, which formerly was located at Case Western Reserve University (now it's located at Kent State), and we chatted about my much beloved hometown of Cleveland while he removed the infected tissue and skin below my third and fourth metatarsal. I'm tempted to take one star off for the huge green signs plastered over the window to reception in the waiting room, it's extremely unwelcoming. BUT, Dr. Sinkoe and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful in diagnosing and suggesting a solution to my achilles tendon problems. After two years of unsuccessful appts with multiple podiatrists, physical therapy, dry needling, inserts, an MRI, taping, a night splint, PRP injections, etc.. I went to see Dr Sinkoe for a new opinion. Just through one visit he was able to determine I did not have plantar fasciitis and was suffering from something else. He gave me new stretches to try at home (as well as put extra padding in the right place in my shoes) and I immediately felt relief! I have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Sinkoe twice now - once a little over a year ago for a broken toe, and last month for Achilles tendinitis. I returned to him because he is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and possesses a wonderful bedside manner. He takes the time to understand you as a person and your medical symptoms. He did a very thorough assessment, and clearly explained the diagnosis and his treatment recommendations. He even had one of his assistants bring me to a room located in his office suite to demonstrate the physical therapy exercises I would be performing at home. By following his instructions, I am almost completely healed, and was able to bike again for the first time this weekend. My second trip to see Dr. Sinkeo! He is very gentle. He understands the special needs of the dancer foot. He can even retrofit your running shoes and other shoes to relieve pressure on the toes. First, tinge I went was for a very ingrown for nail. He took his time and the experience was pretty much painless. This time I went to get rid of nail fungus I got at a local salon. Again painless and he done how matter my nail beds look normal again. Sent a sample off to the lab and ordered medication. I highly recommend Dr. Sinkeo. read more

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life. . .ooooo oooo oooo. . . . . .. So say you had a lot of fun at a wedding. Say you woke up Sunday morning and one of your toes is all swollen and it hurts to put any weight on it. So you properly ignore it and hope it'll go away on its own. But over the next 10 days, it just gets worse not better. That's when you go to see Dr. Frank Sinkoe. So yes, when Dr. Sinkoe told me I sprained the ligament in my toe and it was very common amongst ballet dancers, I could answer "Well, that makes sense, since I was drunk dancing at a wedding when it happened. . . . I think. That's what I'm told anyway." Thankfully, his diagnosis was correct, all I had to do was ice, tape and put an insert in my shoe for a few weeks, and I'm ready for my dancing shoes again! Dr. Sinkoe was very sweet to follow up via phone call a few weeks later. If I have any more foot, toe, ankle issues in the future (which hopefully I don't), at least I have a good podiatrist. read more

I am an avid yelper but dont really leave reviews for anything besides restaurants. This guy deserves a review... I have been to many different doctors and most times feel rushed or that they are ready to move to the next patient. Frank on the other hand is very personal and even reached out to me personally over the phone after I came in for a check up after my last visit in July of 2016 to see how my medication was working and told me that if I came back to get my calluses refiled down he would only charge a small fee. This is my second visit to him today and again had a great experience. The prices are very reasonable and he is great. Wish i could find more doctors in different fields with the same attitude. Just wow! Dr. Sinkoe is absolutely wonderful. My son has had chronic toe infections since his toe surgeries with another podiatrist, we have continually been back and forth to the podiatrist for 6 months. I finally decided he needed to see another Dr. as the latest infection worsened over the weekend. I left Dr. Sinkoe a message through Yelp Sunday evening and he called me first thing Monday morning and made room for my son to come in that afternoon. I can't say enough wonderful things about him. He truly cared for my son's well being, calling and checking on us the next day. We are going for our follow-up tomorrow and his toe looks amazing, no more infection. I went to Dr. Sinkoe after getting tiny fractures in my toes from barre classes. I had no idea that I had fractured my toes, they were just very swollen along the nail beds. He was able to diagnose the problem right away (turns out he works with the Atlanta Ballet and is super knowledgeable about dance feet!) - and he gave me helpful advice about how to prevent it in the future. Absolutely the best doctor I have ever used. Unlike many doctors today, Dr. Sinkoe takes the time to listen to your symptoms and graciously helps with your financial/scheduling needs. I felt that he actually cared about providing me fast, complete service and did not just see me as another patient and dollar sign. My son injured his foot playing a backyard game of football with his friends- it was good a swollen the next morning. Very nice person and terrific doctor. I have various foot problems because I walk 20-30 miles per week. Dr. Sinkoe is always able to fix my issues with a minimum of fuss and expense. (My previous podiatrist recommended expensive custom made orthotics. Dr. Sinkoe said I didn't need them and he was right.) Appointments are easy to get in a reasonable time frame and you never have to wait beyond your appointment time. So glad I found such a great doc. read more
