I thought it odd that they presented me with a waiver to sign, stating that the repair might not work for me to acknowledge. The front desk clerks spent more time talking to themselves about their weekend activities than interacting with me, the customer. It was completed quickly with a request for me to not do certain things with the car for a period of time. The chip had hardly changed at all! I thought, ok, perhaps it will "cure" or something after the specified time. WRONG! The chip actually got worse than when I brought it in for repair! I've had many of these "super glue" repairs done n the past. ALL took longer than this one and ALL were almost a fully transparent fix. I spoke with my insurance agent who called them. He was told, tough, I had signed the waiver. So insurance companies are paying Venables Glass a couple of hundred dollars for a fix that they force the customer to acknowledge that it might not work? Yes, that is what customers of Venables Glass and their insurance carriers are doing. This company used to have a good reputation when the father ran the company. They say an Apple doesn't fall far from the tree...but it can sure roll a long way! AVOID! Safelight is a great alternative and they come to Madison-Ridgeland!

I recently had my car windows tinted, as well as having several door dings removed. They did an excellent job! A couple of the door dings were in a crease in the body panel, which makes it 10 times more difficult, but they did an excellent job. For the dents that were in the smooth surface, you can't tell that they were ever there. The window tint job came out much better than I expected. I upgraded to the ceramic coated tint, which reduces 90% of the heat, which is great for the summer in the South, especially since my car is black on black. I was surprised at how quickly they completed the job. I thought I was just going to drop it off and pick it up later, but my plans changed and I ended up waiting in their lobby, but I didn't have to wait nearly as long as I expected. I would highly recommend that you give them a call. They may not be the cheapest place in town for tint, but you get what you pay for! I'm more than happy!

    I have a company car so they required me to use this shop. I booked and appointment (wouldn't come…read moreto me) at 1 PM in a Friday for a windshield replacement. They told me it would be 3-4 hrs for calibration. I was planning on waiting but an hour into it, they hadn't moved my car so I sat there for about 2-1/2 hrs and called someone to pick me up. I tried to call them at 4:30 for a status update. SAFELITE DOES NOT PROVIDE A LOCAL NUMBER TO THEIR SHOP ONLY AN AI GENERATED PHONE TREE. So I have someone drive me over there in the pouring rain at 4:45 only to be told my vehicle wasn't ready. I would've been fine with that if someone would've called me or I had a number to call for an update. The tech offered to stay late but I told him it would be fine tomorrow. They did call me the next day. The quality of the repair was good and the staff was nice. However, I received countless texts and calls reminding me of my appointment to the point of annoyance. Bit, when I tried to reach them I couldn't speak to a live person for a simple update on the repair status. I seriously doubt I'll ever use them again if I have a choice

The lack of consideration for my time and the poor communication demonstrates a shocking disregard for your customers. A cancellation this close to the appointment is not just inconvenient--it's disrespectful. I cleared my schedule for this service and had no alternative options due to the day of the week. Your last-minute decision has caused me significant inconvenience and stress, and I find it hard to believe that there was no way to notify me sooner. Customer service should be about reliability and respect, and Safelite failed on both counts in this situation. I expect a clear explanation of why this happened and what steps you are taking to prevent such unprofessional behavior in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate immediate assistance in rescheduling this appointment with priority and some form of compensation for the unnecessary inconvenience I have endured.
