    I feel compelled to respond to the behavior of the President of advantagepromotionsnj.com, John…read moreCuozzo. I found this company online because they have the exact product my client wants to use as a promo item for his event. Their confirmation email was vague so I reached out for additional information via email and phone, as I had no idea what the next steps were and we're on a tight schedule. Based on our interaction when he returned my call today - when he said he doesn't want to deal with people from "there" - it became obvious that he has a prejudice against either people from my country or maybe just people who don't come from where they do - America. Either way, it's just sad. It is sad that I could counter every obstacle he created with a solution (I offered to wire funds to his account before he even started to processed the job, a US shipping address because he said he only ships domestic and I also offered to renegotiate the delivery date so the timeline would be more feasible for him) and instead of decently declining after the Q&A, due to whatever is informing his bias, he hung up the phone on me after telling me to do business somewhere else. How is it even a thought to do something like that in a professional setting, whether or not you want the business? This is coming not from a clerk or a rep, but the leader of the company. WOW is the only thing I have left to say, but not the kind of WOW anyone should want to be associated with.

I found the perfect item and went to check out and had an issue with the shipping cost. I guess in this day and age of Prime Free Shipping, we are spoiled and forget that the real world doesn't operate with the scope and influence of Amazon. I fired off an email to customer service whining about shipping costs and asking if I had other options. I received a phone call from John within hours of my customer service request email. We had a conversation about what he can and can't do and it was reasonable and fair. We agreed on a plan forward and hung up. Soon after, I received an email from Gerry also offering up solutions to my concerns. To make a long story short, I was thoroughly impressed with this company's approach to customer service. My cup (and a 'few extras' that they threw in) are on their way to my daughter and I am so happy to have come across this company. Based on this experience, I would recommend this group of folks to any company looking for a source of logo-ed items. Keep up the good work!! Michelle Olney, MD
