I asked, is there any possible way it can be repaired? Can it be straightened out? He seemed earnest and honest, he did. But he said no it will come off the rollers every time. Maybe he really thought that. I had a second company come out. "Can't repair it." I invited them to send a bid - they never did. Third company was Overhead Door. From beginning to end a completely different experience. First, a very capable and friendly receptionist immediately connected me to Kelly who listened carefully to the issue. He himself came out the next day. After much discussion, he offered for their company to take a look at it and see if it could be repaired, which was a surprise to me since both other companies had told me it wasn't possible. If it couldn't be repaired, Overhead would apply the work cost to the the cost of a new door. Sounded like a good plan to me. So today the service tech came out. He FIXED IT. He braced it and repaired the rollers and it is as good as new. You can be sure when it comes time for me to buy a new door in a few years (and now I know how much to save) that I will ABSOLUTELY use Overhead Door because of their honesty, integrity, and not just trying to sell me a new door. Service for a damaged single car aluminum garage door on a residential home…read more $600.00 charged over 5 years ago, January 2021. I'm just now posting this review, 5 years later, after having a reputable company service our 2 car and single car doors 2 weeks ago and finding out how Reliant ripped me off. Here's how they did it. Only panels, rollers, and drums replaced for $600.00. The service I just had done 2 weeks ago revealed all the old parts, including the worn out spring, were reused. The door ran rough and was heavy to open, poorly balanced, and the spring was torqued to its maximum causing a potential catastrophic failure. My advice is to request a full list of parts replaced and verify the work done. Raise and lower the door manually, checking the weight and the smoothness of operation. This technician knew how to rip us off. The receipt looked like a 10 year old designed it. Perhaps they're a better company now.

Service came out 3 times and replaced batteries that lasted a couple of months. Finally we called for a replacement. We were told we had to call the manufacturer to get an approval. Fine, although we bought it from Adooring Designs. Mike at Adooring Dorrs charged us $150 to replace a defective part purchased from them although they never charged us before (product was in warranty). Just a buyer beware. Their reponse was that it wasn't their fault it didn't work

We called a different company to come assess the issue and they told us we needed to replace the entire door and that it would be upwards of $5,000. We then called this company for a second assessment and they sent someone out the next day. Ryan was super professional and came out to assess the problem. He ended up charging us only to replace the bolts and went above and beyond to tighten up/clean up everything like the springs while only charging us less than $200!! He also said there was no need to replace the whole door and reassured us that it was totally safe. He was fast and thorough and just a very nice guy. Highly recommend using this company for your garage door needs!!

I have an OVERHEAD DOOR installed in my Garage and my LEGACY 850 has a 10 year warranty and I…read morebought it NEW in 2020...we are in 2026 so the motor and gear box still have 4 years on the warranty. My door will go halfway up and then it STOPS!! I unhooked the chain and could use JUST 2 fingers to lift the door. So I hook the chain back on and it stops halfway up again. Now I have to help the door up. I called and spoke to CHUCK and told him what was going on. I asked for a new Motor to be sent out and all CHUCK could do was talk about money. He wanted a fee for having someone come out when the part HAS a WARRANTY!! he's say no other part is covered and I would have to buy a NEW motor. I told him I didn't need anything but a new Motor. CHUCK wouldn't listen to me. So new OVERHEAD DOORS won't stand behind the product they built unless you buy something from them. So I'll go to Home Depot and buy a new door opener and when people ask me about OVERHEAD DOORS, I'll tell them how crappy they are. I'm going to GOOGLE NEXT, then Yelp, then Facebook, ECT...You guy's are a CRAP COMPANY to do Business with.
