Do not trust the 5* Yelp reviews. I paid $250 plus an undisclosed $20 sales tax for a tune‑up to rebalance my garage doors. After the service, the door was still clearly unbalanced -- and the technician didn't even mention it. I only found out when I checked the door myself. Only then was I told the springs "couldn't be tightened further" and that I'd need to upgrade to a different gauge. I brought in a different 5‑star Yelp company the next day. They immediately diagnosed the issue, properly tensioned the existing spring (no gauge upgrade needed), were fully transparent about pricing with no surprise add‑on tax, and even have a 1‑year warranty as standard. I obtained a quote online to replace a single spring on a two car garage door and just to reset the cables, which is typical when the spring goes out. The estimate was $250-$300 from yelp platform 912 Garage Pros. The technician that arrived was from a company called garage tech and did not display any logo or have any what I could tell would be direct employment with this company. Basically they subcontract their work as it appears to me. Arthur, the Technician was very good and he stated the quotes are seldom correct and it would cost $550 to install the spring and reset cables. The spring was not aDalton as stated on website. The Technician stated typically this replacement takes about 25 minutes jn total. The Tech did a few maintenance items and the entire job took 55 minutes, which included me assisting him lifting the door so I could remove my vehicles. I felt a little bit duped because from reading everything on yelp and from their website made it sound like they have their own trained technicians and clearly this was a subcontracted job and he admitted he contracts for them and he also does his own work. My receipt was from Garage Tech . At the end of the job which was done satisfactory, I was offered a $25 discount if I would give them five stars on the spot on Google. This felt a little dirty. Additionally, Garage Pros website offered $50 off when booking through their site and k never got the email coup I feel as though I would not have used this company if I did not need it fixed immediately and it was a Sunday so I do appreciate they work seven days a week. We could not fix it, so called Michael late on a Friday afternoon thinking we would have to wait until the next business day for service. Michael and 911 Garage Pros is amazing! My garage door broke late Wednesday afternoon. It was completely fixed Thursday morning. I checked Yelp on Wednesday night to see which companies were well reviewed and sent a "service request" generic message to Michael's company. I did not expect to hear back until Thursday since it was after 9:00 pm on Wednesday night. But, Michael replied via text almost immediately and we set an appointment for Thursday between 8:00-9:00 am. He texted to let me know when he was en route. When Michael arrived, he took one look at the door and the first thing out of his mouth was, "Well, you do not need to replace the whole door." Instead, he pointed out what needed to be fixed, gave me a really fair price for the work, and had it done in less than 45 minutes. The bar that moves the door had to be reinforced (because the bracket had literally broken off and was hanging), and the roller wheels were old and worn out (which caused too much pressure on the bracket). And, this door had been "fixed" before. I have used other garage door companies and the first thing they usually say is to replace the whole door with a big number that follows. Michael is not that owner and this is not that company. I actually repeated the price back to him because I thought I might have misheard him (because it was a REALLY fair price). But, nope - Michael does not charge for stuff that does not need to be done, and he is direct in his quotes. I have already given his name to two other friends, and was super happy with his work. There is zero need to check anywhere else - just call Michael. TLDR: garage door broke and Michael fixed it fast, correctly, and with a very fair price. read more

Hey y'all I was in a pickle back in June and needed to have my garage door fixed. After posting on Yelp that I needed assistance I spoke with Mike, the owner of 911 Garage Pros. He responded quickly to my request for help and showed up to my house I want to say maybe within an hour of our call. When he showed up he assessed what was wrong with my garage and provided me with two options. One that was most cost effective (which entailed me getting some supplies) and a second slightly more expensive option but saving me time in selecting parts. He did not try to upsell anything. Just simply provided options and let me select the best one that suited my needs. I went with the second/streamlined option. Mike also provided me with a quote for total work before any work was done, so I knew exactly what I was going to pay. I truly appreciate it when a business gives you the actual cost of the work to be done. The work required was a replacement of the motor and chain assembly and repair of damage to the door that was there when I purchased the house. I spent a total of $871.41 with tax and I have to say I'm extremely proud of the work he did. After seeing the quality of work Mike does and the service he provides, I will gladly call upon his company for any future repairs or maintenance that may come.
