DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS SCHOOL!!! The "teachers" and staff here are a joke and don't care if you…read moresucceed or not. They are more concerned with their own personal agendas and getting their paycheck that they forget that if it was not for the students that are paying $25000+ to go to school there that they wouldn't have a paycheck to cash!!! They sell you on how great this place is and how they will help you find jobs but how are they going to do that when they are NEVER available to talk to or know your name unless you are a kiss ass?!? This place is a joke and NOT worth the time or money!!!

My sister and I tried the restaurant inside the college (ran by students) out today as she had seem…read moresome things about it and thought it would be a great experience. We were both extremely underwhelmed with our encounter. The menu was very small, but there were a few good options. We both went with the "Half-back" which gave us our choice of two 1/2 items (sandwich, salad, soup). We both had 1/2 of a BLT and then she got the tomato soup and I ordered the loaded bake potato soup. We had heard great things about their desserts (which was our main reason of choosing this spot), however, they barely had any dessert available. They had a huge menu of options, but only had peanut butter cookies, plain cheesecake and a fruit tart. We got there when they opened, so it's not like we were late to the game, so how could you not have items on your menu. Should desserts be something you prep the night before or in the morning for the entire day? I wouldn't think that it would be "Oh, we don't have any, I'm not making any more of those for a couple days." To me, that's not good business, if it's on your menu, it should be in stock every day when you open the doors. Also, the girl running the register didn't really seem to know what was going on, had trouble with the register, had to ask about our order multiple times after giving it and didn't know what was available as far as desserts. It seems there's poor communication between the team.

I toured the new Midtown address of the OCU School of Law recently to check it out as a potential…read morelocation for Yelp events. First of all, I can say that all the trouble everyone went to to move the school to Midtown was well worth them effort. Students and professors will benefit from all that's happening down here, and the community at large will benefit from the up-and-coming professionals having a vested interest in continued improvement in the area, not to mention the dollars they'll all spend in the area when they're not in class. As a venue for special events, the exterior is impressive, the interior stately and it is centrally-located for folks. I can see hosting many different types of events here. It would be a perfect venue for something like a wine or cocktail tasting event or class. It's probably not a good fit for a 400 person, open bar extravaganza. It's probably also a little too business-y for a wedding. I mean, its a school, and it's also home to lots of employees who make the school work (think, office trappings), so you probably could not make it formal enough for a wedding. But for a fundraiser, or book-signing or a lecture, I think it is perfect. They do reserve the right to have complete say over who is able to use it, and for what purpose, but I think that's pretty standard practice for a university. The large patio at the front of the building is actually a very cool space and would make for an awesome event. I'd love to host something out there sometime, providing I could use the interior space as a back-up, since I've learned that you absolutely always have to have a back-up in the event of weather.

Having previously been to other dental schools for treatment, this was better than Texas, not quite as good as Florida but it was the closest to me at the time being a 6 hour drive from Missouri. I had three appointments and at each appointment, I told everyone that was working with me that I would definitely be at every appointment but 4. I would miss 2 in January and 2 in February. Every person said that they did not see that as a problem. I had a pulpectomy done then they assigned a student to my case and that's where I became unimpressed. He cancelled my next appointment and at the next one, he gave me so many xrays and double xrays that my nose started running and my head ached so badly I was sick to my stomach. I had already told him about January and February and he said the same as everyone else, "Don't see that as a problem. " Then he cancelled another appointment and I called and complained. Well that was that. They sent me a letter stating that I had been dropped from their program because I had to drive too far. ??? Well, that's my experience. Use your own judgement.
