Scheduler doesn't explain charges, surprise bills show up weeks after visits of $120.00, just wondering how she charged me the initial amount I paid for, after the office visit for the ankle brace. I asked her how much it will be after my insurance coverage? She said $15, so I agreed. Just received the bill, 3 weeks later! I was scammed twice to buy a product they probably get for pennies. Talked to their person in charge of billing, she gave me a lesson, that it's my job to know what my policy covers. Okay! I called my insurance company, they were shocked that this office didn't bother to insurance verify. More over, they never even submitted a claim for the item. Not for this brace, not even for the boot I bought in January after my ankle was broken. I paid the amount I was told in the office, plus the "surprise" $121 emailed bill weeks after, that demands an online payment, with zero explanation. According to my insurance company, neither of these items were submitted for claims! Regardless if my policy covers the boot or the brace, they should have been submitted, AND explained to me if they weren't covered, given me a total prices of the cost to me! I would avoid this office for fraud! Are they just keeping the difference for profit, but lie of the first amount you make you pay! Of course it's nonrefundable, even though still in a box, because I bought it for my upcoming overseas vacation. $300 for an elastic brace and a boot! Everyone else can do better outside of this office! One of the x-ray technicians took 6 x-rays of my leg. Came into the waiting room, said oh, we need to take a few more x-rays. I forced the reason out of her, she said she took them of my leg, not the broken ankle! Obviously couldn't be bothered to look at my file to find out why was I even there in this office! 6 more x-rays it is. Never an admission of screw up, forget a simple sorry. Not a word. I skipped several "suggested" visits, because all we did was kept looking at my x-rays, kept watching my ankle heal. Like watching grass grow, for $60 a pop (my copay). Stayed in a boot, went for visit once every, or every other month. No, I did not feel cared for, but very much taken advantage of! My first and last visit ever in this office. I expect a call to change my review.

On any given week I'll run 0-40+ miles and have been experiencing foot pain from early this year prior to moving here. I went in thinking I had nerve damage, a Morton neuroma since my symptoms were pointing in this direction. Only to several visits (xray that apparently didn't show anything and was completely pointless + MRI) and many payments later find out I have a laundry list of issues. According to my mri I have a stress fracture, a fully detached plantar plate and a torn plantar plate in my 2nd, 3rd and 4th metatarsal along w various other issues. I'll be lying to say I wasn't in complete disbelief when I found this out. I stood there staring at the screen like this can't possibly be my foot we are talking about. It's cute hearing people talk about their jogs but have you ran a marathon, and various other races for the past 6 months on a broken, fully ruptured foot, if not I don't give two f's! This coming from a woman who has been in heels nearly everyday of every week for months on end. No wonder my left knee where I had arthroscopic surgery has been all out of whack, I didn't know I'd been doing this on some bum foot! I seriously can't fathom these MRI results are accurate and surgery?!!!! I'm getting a second opinion like any human would but have looked further into this center since discovering this. Most every individual has been in a boot and had surgery here. I don't like the idea of feeling like I've had zero care to actually treat any of my symptoms just visit after visit scheduled to collect payment after payment. Zero taping techniques provided or anything useful in anyway that would help other than trying to be shoved into a boot and other costly options. I'd be weary of the "care" or lack there of. I did break my left foot years ago and I'm convinced they are reading results saying it's fractured, on a 5 year old fracture. If it is fractured in addition to fully detached as shown to me and torn in other areas well, then that's just peachy I suppose my adrenaline since being here has increased my tolerance to pain because it's pretty insane to think of what I've done on this foot the past 6 months. Get a second opinion if you're going to come here but I wouldn't suggest this center. It's felt all sorts of sketch from the jump. Boots, surgery, infection, being nickeled and dimed. It screams insurance fraud or some sort of scam into trying to rob you blind and a push into going under the knife. The second I head cutting through bone, my head nearly exploded. Are you effing serious right now?!? I'm going to run Dallas marathon on this before any type of surgery whatsoever. The way I see it, if something's fully detached- then I can't detach it any further. I suppose if everything told to me is accurate it's time for me to take up the out of my tax bracket hobbies I've been putting off, hello needle pointing and mahjong!

The front desk ignored me when I walked in, though one was training the other, so I let it slide. What I couldn't let slide was what came next. I went in knowing I needed X-rays. The doctor confirmed as much -- then casually mentioned their machine was down. That's information that should have been shared before I drove over, checked in, and paid a visit fee for a problem that went completely unaddressed. I was also steered toward shoe inserts that a second doctor later told me I didn't need. When I noticed they were branded with the office's own name, the picture got a lot clearer. Now for the billing, which is where this really goes off the rails. I was told my out-of-pocket would be $50, paid it right then, and figured we were square. Two months later, a $115 bill shows up in the mail. I also found out they billed my insurance $700 for a 15-minute visit where nothing was actually done. Seven hundred dollars. For a broken X-ray machine and an upsell. It's hard not to wonder whether that machine was actually down or whether it's just a convenient way to get patients back through the door for another billable visit.
