She's incredibly thorough and has been very accessible via the patient portal whenever I had follow-up questions. The nursing staff also deserves a shout-out. They are wonderful and very understanding. During my last visit, one of the nurses gave me some great, practical tips for managing my allergies, even sharing what works for her own kids, which I really appreciated. The Cons: My initial experience was a total nightmare due to insurance hurdles. While that isn't the fault of the practice itself (third-party insurance is the absolute worst), it definitely made the start of my journey here rocky. More recently, they've implemented a new sign-in sheet process. Since this was a change from previous visits, I mistakenly thought it was only for new patients. When the front desk clerk asked me to sign in, she responded with a confused look and a bit of a rude tone. It was a minor friction point, but a little more patience for returning patients adjusting to the new workflow would go a long way!

I started getting weak and had to postpone our return to Cupertino. Being 80, I did not want things to get worse so went to Urgent Care of Texas, Plano. Dr. M. Bhallia took my vitals which were fine. No covid, flu or RSV. He gave me an I-V with antibiotics and some med prescriptions. He also gave me a prescription for a chest x-ray for next AM. The results of the x-ray showed signs of pneumonia in right lung. I had to go back to Urgent Care for another I-V with 2 shots. This was Wed. Nov. 8. I felt a bit stronger and felt capable of managing the flight that evening to Cupertino. I was impressed with the service, respect and care I received from Dr. Bhallia and his staff Syeda and Ayeshe. The clinic is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. I am thankful to have chosen Urgent Care of Texas in Plano. They took excellent care of me so I could return back to Cupertino Thank you, all.

On any given week I'll run 0-40+ miles and have been experiencing foot pain from early this year prior to moving here. I went in thinking I had nerve damage, a Morton neuroma since my symptoms were pointing in this direction. Only to several visits (xray that apparently didn't show anything and was completely pointless + MRI) and many payments later find out I have a laundry list of issues. According to my mri I have a stress fracture, a fully detached plantar plate and a torn plantar plate in my 2nd, 3rd and 4th metatarsal along w various other issues. I'll be lying to say I wasn't in complete disbelief when I found this out. I stood there staring at the screen like this can't possibly be my foot we are talking about. It's cute hearing people talk about their jogs but have you ran a marathon, and various other races for the past 6 months on a broken, fully ruptured foot, if not I don't give two f's! This coming from a woman who has been in heels nearly everyday of every week for months on end. No wonder my left knee where I had arthroscopic surgery has been all out of whack, I didn't know I'd been doing this on some bum foot! I seriously can't fathom these MRI results are accurate and surgery?!!!! I'm getting a second opinion like any human would but have looked further into this center since discovering this. Most every individual has been in a boot and had surgery here. I don't like the idea of feeling like I've had zero care to actually treat any of my symptoms just visit after visit scheduled to collect payment after payment. Zero taping techniques provided or anything useful in anyway that would help other than trying to be shoved into a boot and other costly options. I'd be weary of the "care" or lack there of. I did break my left foot years ago and I'm convinced they are reading results saying it's fractured, on a 5 year old fracture. If it is fractured in addition to fully detached as shown to me and torn in other areas well, then that's just peachy I suppose my adrenaline since being here has increased my tolerance to pain because it's pretty insane to think of what I've done on this foot the past 6 months. Get a second opinion if you're going to come here but I wouldn't suggest this center. It's felt all sorts of sketch from the jump. Boots, surgery, infection, being nickeled and dimed. It screams insurance fraud or some sort of scam into trying to rob you blind and a push into going under the knife. The second I head cutting through bone, my head nearly exploded. Are you effing serious right now?!? I'm going to run Dallas marathon on this before any type of surgery whatsoever. The way I see it, if something's fully detached- then I can't detach it any further. But Gupta told me she wasn't involved in any data checking or appointment decision making until I went to ER. She said it was all on the nurse practitioner. - What?! Why?! She said it was strange I was scheduled at week 11. It's usually week 8. - Whose responsibility?! Who's bearing the consequences? I asked her how I know if there was ever a fetal pole or not, she said "ya we don't know." 2) the nurse practitioner, Mahnaz, just kept telling me even an earlier sonogram wouldn't make any change to the result. - what about the data for me to know what actually happened? And she just did what every OB would do. - without asking her OB? She told me she didn't know I tried to make an earlier appointment. It was all the front desk girl. - Seriously?! At the end, she just told me "I need to go to see my patient. You can talk to the office manager because you and I are not getting anywhere!" Next thing I knew, she slammed the door and left me in the room by myself. - What a jerk! It hurts like so many bad words. I'm surprised she does this for living. She should be fired. 3) If you want to get their attention, consider to share your experience here, they will call you right away. ---- Worst experience! No matter how much I told the NP, Mahnaz, after I signed up to Gupta about my advanced age and my last miscarriage which was within a year, the NP just gave me very broad info intake and 2 blood work in week 5. I had to be the one to request for blood work in week 6 when I saw my HCG wasn't doubling. No more blood work scheduled till the miscarriage. My first sonogram was scheduled at week 11. - Ridiculous! I called and requested a few times to have an earlier sonogram. I was told the Dr said it's not necessary!!! I feel very dismissed from this place on me or whatever risk I am going through. One star bc there's no zero star option. Just know that all the negative reviews here and on Google are not coincidence.

HOWEVER, my insurance changed at the start of this year. I updated the office before my 16 week appointment and as soon as I got to my appointment they had to reschedule me because of the doctor not being available but also because they could not figure out my new insurance. They asked me to call my insurance company and I found out their office is not covered. So unfortunately I had to find another doctors office that would be covered under my insurance. In order to make an appointment there, I had to ask CWC to send over my medical records to the new office. CWC told me they need 14 business days just to get all my paperwork together (I'm sure all my stuff is digital and I've only had 3-4 appointments, so I'm not sure what takes so long) and after asking if they can expedite it so I can make a new appointment and don't miss any appointments, they refused and could not care less over the phone. It was almost as if the person on the phone wasn't even paying attention and did not care about my situation. SUPER frustrating and disappointing to put a pregnant woman through.

The surgery was scary to say the least but we cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Hostin. The surgery went as expected, (Better than we expected), and my husband is recovering. Before surgery the pain would bring him to his knees after standing up for 5-10 minutes. He was up and walking within 24 hours (baby steps of course). Last night we went on a 30 minute walk and other than still recovering from the slight pain from the incisions he feels amazing. Absolutely NO back/sciatic pain that he has been experiencing for the last several years. If you are considering any type of back surgery. Dr. Hostin is your guy! Also, the nurses and staff at Medical City were incredible. They took wonderful care of him at all times. Dr. Hostin changed my husbands life and we are forever grateful. When I returned for the selected treatment, she performed the procedure with great skill and professionalism.
