Omg - what a crap show this outfit is. If you get referred, think twice and hold on to your credit card. My wife had an appointment this week. Got there to be told the doc had moved down the street. Went down the street. Doc is now out at another office and they have no record of the appointment even though they say they called to remind us. There was no call. Wait -the find her in the system. Last visit in 2019. Wrong answer - we didn't live here in 2019. Hold on. They can see her but need a ct. a ct she just had a week ago, but they don't have and want to bill again for. Say we would call and have it sent. Step away and come back to be told don't bother, they must do their own scan. We leave. Bonus - as we are doing all this. There's a staff person about 10 feet away, chatting loudly with customers about medical and financial information so everyone in the office can hear details. So much for patient privacy and HIPPA. please do not patronize these chuckleheads unless you are in Dire Straits, and independently wealthy. read more

My friend went here for an appointment. The front desk lady was friendly and the place was clean and modern. The parking was in front of the building. There are multiple businesses in this building, and I had to take the elevator to get to Metropolitan Endodontics. My friend said they were informative about her tooth and liked the care she recieved. read more

I was having pain in my tooth so I went to my dentist. He referred me to Metropolitan Endodontics. I got an appointment within days of calling. Dr Scott Doyle was so caring, interactive, and explained everything that was happening while he was checking to see if I needed a root canal. His assistant Amber was also very caring, knowledgeable, and interactive. I was extremely happy when they found out I did need a root canal, and fixed it after my exam. I thought that I would have to come back. Everyone was super nice from signing in, and how they discussed the billing when I was done. I felt so welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of. I was referred here by my dentist after a root canal that needed extra attention. My dentist office made an appointment for today Monday last Thursday. I received a call Friday last week day after my failed root canal and the receptionist said, "we have to cancel your root canal because the doctors need to see you for a consult first." and "your insurance will only cover $78 of it and you will have to pay $318 dollars." I asked why? I can't chew or brush my teeth on that side. She said the first appointment for the "consult" is October 4th!! I said what? I have to wait for 6 weeks? Why am I having to have a consult after the endodontist has seen my records and X-rays from my dentist? Oh yes, to make more money, I am quite sure they will be taking their OWN X-rays too. No thank you. Today, they called (Monday) another receptionist to see what questions I had, I told her I won't be keeping my. appointment in OCTOBER! She responded by saying ok Great! . Great? what is great about that? Only thing is great is me now paying $318 dollars for a ridiculous consult. Going to another facility where they are more professional and ethical. read more

Today I was treated by Dr. Kaufman. The amount of patience that he displayed was so refreshing. I was nervous about the dentist as I have had a history of having a hard time getting numb. Dr. Kaufman did not disappoint. I had a painless root canal and left the clinic feeling so much better. Dr.Hilton and staff took me in between their regular appointments because all of a sudden I developed an infection due to needing a root canal. SUPER GRATEFUL, to the kind staff to Dr.Hilton's assistant amazingly gentle and kind. TO DEAR Dr.Hilton- explanation of what he needs to to is doing and will follow up doing very clear. I just had to have a root canal on my back molar; Dr. Doroschak and his assistant, Carly, were fabulous. Dr. Doroschak explained everything he was going to do and told me how it might feel. They even showed me the scans they took and explained them in detail. On top of all of that, they regaled me with excellent stories. 1 Star is generous. Inver Grove Heights location: I was referred to go here. When I went to the front desk the nasty attitude wasn't appreciated the woman acted like a snotty brat. I was charged $300 for a consultation. They took it out of pocket as if my insurance wouldn't cover it. This was just to get me in the door to examine me as I was in terrible pain. They told me it would be $1500 for an extraction and I was close to pay it. Got a second opinion from a different dentist and they took my tooth out for under 200 and insurance covered it. Quick to make that money and not help someone in terrible pain. Such a joke. Better places out there with people who care. I was irate and now even more upset that I sit here and think about the charge of $300 I could have avoided. I wish I had my money back. read more

I am a very nervous patient when it comes to dental work, & I want to report that Dr. Robert Kaufman was amazing in performing my root canal. He explained everything thoroughly to me, took his time, made sure I was informed & that I was as calm as possible during my procedure. (which was a challenge, as I was very nervous) The front desk staff and my dental assistant were fabulous as well! super friendly, warm and kind. He thoroughly explained what the problem was and the best course of action for me. He answered all of my questions and had excellent bedside manner. read more

I waited three months to get an appointment. This place was not well marked and very hard to find. There are no signs on the outside of the building. The require payment up front claiming insurance won't pay this amount (whatever it is) My charge was $350 dollars which is NOT pocket change. Front desk people at check in were unapologetic for lack of directions to the physicality and requiring payment up front. Was shrugged off as if it was not big deal to them and they were just doing their job. Dentist was nice, but after all that time waiting to get in, he didn't have any concrete information for the problem I was having. What a waste of time and it took over an hour to get here. Zero stars! Seriously don't go here. Had my crown knocked out after the dentist dropped the clamp on it. No apology was just handed my crown after they found it on the floor and told I would need to go to my dentist to fix it. They offered me a mask to wear out so I didn't have to be seen toothless (how kind). The dental hygienist then directed me to billing. Once they saw I was clearly upset they said I could just be on my way. They just ended up mailing the bill instead. Worst patient care experience. I was referred to a specific doctor, I called and was confirmed that I would see a specific doctor and 2 different calls. When I arrived a different doctor entered and insinuated I was a liar and that he was the only op to on available. I told him I was informed twice by his staff and that I wanted to speak with the owner only to be told "I am the owner". I could either leave and drive clear across the cities again and comeback on Monday or they would figure it out. I was already in the room and patient chair at this point. To have the dental assistant say well the doctor you were scheduled to see is with someone Else so wait and go back to the lobby. The lobby is not properly social distanced for waiting and I was forced out of the room and told to wait an unknown amount of time for the doctor I was originally scheduled for. Be careful with this practice. Poor administration, poor leadership from doctor and poor COVID 19 social distancing in waiting room. read more

My dentist referred me to this place for a dreaded root canal. I have a little "dentistry anxiety" so I was NOT looking forward to this appointment. I was happy that they could get me in the day after I called since half my face was swollen. Dr. Doyle was very kind, patient and explained the procedure and what my options were. Dr Doyle made sure I was numbed up and the procedure went well. So much better than anticipated! I would definitely see Dr Doyle again if needed but let's hope I don't!! read more

Wait time was long to get in for an appt but once I was there Dr. Doyle did a great job and relieved my pain. He also made me feel comfortable about the whole experience. They will request you do a cone beam x-ray and this is not covered by insurance, my cost was $212.00. Additionally, the front desk will estimate what they think you will have to pay based on your insurance and they collect before you leave. I would highly recommend you check with your insurance company before going so you know what the charge should be and what you have available thru insurance. They tried to over charge me and I refused to pay it prior to running it thru my insurance. My husband they overcharged and he paid it and now we need to call to get a refund. read more

Do not go here. They screwed up a very easy procedure then deleted all my information so it looked as if I wasn't ever there. The doctor told me he would follow up with my dentist asap and they didn't call me, two weeks later I had to find all this out. Long story short - I am now missing a tooth because of their screwup. All electronic evidence of me being there was deleted so they couldn't be held accountable. read more

Metropolitan Endodontics, and especially Dr. Doroschak, were recommended to me by my dentist when I thought I needed a root canal. I could not have been more appreciative of Dr. Doroschak's thorough process to make sure it was what I needed. After two complete X-rays it was determined that I did not need the root canal. I felt he really went out of his way to make sure that this was not the issue. I want to thank everyone at Metropolitan Endodontics for their integrity.
