I like to go extra times each year so I go three times a year for cleaning and then for my regular checks with Dr. Wang. David is an excellent hygienist who is super thorough and gentle and always does an awesome job making my teeth look and feel great. Dr. Wang is an excellent dentist, very friendly; I've had to have one filling replaced with him (it cracked years ago, and he finally convinced me to replace it) and although it did get/stay a little sensitive for a while now it's perfect. He was really good checking in with me every time and giving me tips on how to help with the sensitivity issues. The front staff is usually very friendly and helpful as well. I've been going here for a few years and only had one incident that I can remember where maybe somebody was having a bad day (hey it happens to all of us!) :) all in all I definitely recommend going here for your dental care needs.

I will have to have an old filling replaced which I anticipated, but I have no reason to believe that experience will be negative. In fact I look forward to seeing how the situation will be handled. Also, he has done some oral surgery for me as I had an infection and I did not feel any pain, and it healed so fast the way he did it with his procedure. His assistant removed some sutures the other day and I did not feel a thing, she seems to be an expert ! I will be getting an implant soon where my broken tooth was removed. I would strongly recommend seeing Dr. Kumar to remove broken teeth at the gum line as he has great techniques to help you. Implants are available for you also, he does great work ! I switched to them over a year ago from the dental clinic my family had been going to for 30 years, and had been recommending that my family do the same because I loved the convenience, competence and friendliness at Almond. In May, almost two months ago, I went in for a quick exam to evaluate a sharp pain in one spot on one tooth. I saw Dr. Lam and she tapped around that tooth but couldn't find the spot that was causing my pain. The pain had only been there for around two weeks, which she said wasn't long enough to investigate further. She suggested it was from clenching my teeth at night and recommended a night guard. I have had brief episodes of clenching in the past and it results in a totally different dull jaw ache so I said I really did not think that was the issue. I also already have a night guard. I then proceeded to leave town for almost two months and decided to just avoid hitting that tooth until I could come back and have it checked out again. I had told them I might go to another clinic while I was out of town but ultimately decided to wait because I overall trusted Almond and wanted continuity. Last week, I scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. This morning, I got a call informing me that my appointment was being canceled because Dr. Lam didn't want to see me and none of the other dentists wanted to take over. All because I disagreed with her initial conclusion after a 10 minute exam, based on knowing what normal and abnormal pain is like in the teeth I've had for 25+ years. I am still in disbelief that this is how Almond operates.

This office is run in an utterly unprofessional manner. They failed to ask whether my daughter was…read morein pain, and then told the doctor that she wasn't rather than admit they hadn't asked. My daughter was in pain. They said they couldn't schedule her wisdom tooth extraction until six weeks after she had a bad cold, and then scheduled her for just two weeks later. They said they would call her 48 hours beforehand to go over surgery instructions, and then never called at all. The women running the office are dishonest and lied about our family, and humiliated my daughters in front of the waiting room without cause, apparently in an effort to cover up another error on their part. We will be seeking care elsewhere from now on.
